i got screwed on a -500 home team in the greek league a few months back and learned my lesson.....

here's a little reminder...there are THREE outcomes in soccer.

WIN / LOSE / TIE, you cut down on your chances of winning by that third outcome.

playing totals = TWO outcomes = WIN / LOSE

50% /50%, which is better than 33%/33%/33%

if in fact you DO want to still bet on real madrid, might i suggest parlaying it with another HUGE home fave to cut down on the juice...
