YTD:
2-1-1 up 1.3 units
USF (-160) - 4.8 units to make 3 units
Playing the Bulls on the ML tonight. Buying the point to get below 3 was -150 anyway, so I went with the ML play. Familiar situation of a lower-ranked team favored against a higher ranked team. I think South Florida will control the line of scrimmage on offense. This year, Kansas has not looked as explosive offensively as they did last year, and have a new DC. My only concern w/ USF is turnovers, but I expect them to stay crisp and focused tonight.
USC/OSU Over 44.5 - 2.2 units to make 2
I expect several big plays tomorrow night. OSU should come out throwing early after a very vanilla offensive game plan last week vs. Ohio. USC demonstrated it can put points on the board during the thrashing of UVA in week 1.
Central Michigan (-2.5) - 1.3 units to make 1
Bought the half-point for this one. Ohio looked good last week against a team that was looking ahead to this week. They showed themselves (and everyone else) they are a quality team. Central Michigan will come in looking to prove they are still the team to beat in the MAC.
Maryland (+8) 1H - 1.1 units to make 1
Waiting for this one cost me a half-point. Maryland has looked awful so far this year. They know after losing to MTSU and beating a 1AA opponent by 7, this is the game to turn their season around. Cal has shown they are capable of making big plays on offense. If Maryland gets down early, it could be a blowout, but I like the Terps to hang tough. The 12 ET kick-off does no favors for a Bears team off a cross-country trip.
That's all for now. I'm still considering a small play on Maryland ML, and a couple other small plays. It could depend on tonight's outcome.
