Hi - first time putting picks in, and what better way to start than some football.

2* Montreal -2.5 -115
2* Calgary +1.5
2* Saskatchewan -7 +100

(Friday) This will be Winnipeg's first road trip of the season, and Montreal will be at home for the second week straight. This has my numbers having the Alouettes as the value play here. It's still early in the season so we still aren't for sure what each team really has, but I have to trust my numbers. Tom Higgins has typically been a good home field coach going 49-21 SU, and this will be Oshea's first road trip has a general. We're laying a small number here, and you may actually get a better one has the game gets closer to Friday.

(Saturday) I like the by week angle I have with Calgary in this matchup this week. It's something that we'll be able to look at every week as the season goes on. The Argo's absolutely smashed the Roguhriders last week, and that may cause a bit of over confidence. While the Stamps were able to stay home and watch the beat down taking notes. Hufnagle has been a decent road dog coach going 20-10 ATS. The numbers while not as strong as Montreal do support a play here.

NOTE: I'm just going to stop saying my numbers at this point. I do create my own lines, and make plays off of those. So I won't continue to refer back to them every time I happen to do a little talk about the games.

(Saturday) I must comeback with the Roughriders here after the embarrassing loss at Toronto on Saturday. The British Columbia QB play has been pretty bad, and Saskatchewan's defense while it didn't show up last week is considered to be better than last year's Grey Cup Championship team's. Benevides has yet to figure out the road troubles in his short tenure at BC going 1-6 SU and 2-5 ATS as road dogs.

No line out yet again on Ottawa, and I may be back with that one has I tend to play almost every game for the first several weeks of the season.

Ha-Ha! Yeah, I suppose they can't.

I'm in the States so I can't bet the Greek. Must wait for 5dimes to release it. Last week they come out 3-points different with the Bombers -3.5 where most places had them at 6.5 a couple days before.

Adding one more

Adding one more

1* Edmonton -6.5

Sizing the bet down on this one a bit. I had success fading the Redblacks last week, but it wasn't quite as easy as I had expected it to be. Even though Ottawa has a good handful of veterans they've still yet to play together enough as team in my opinion.

Both teams have new Head Coaches to the League, but the Eskimos have done the job on defense forcing 10 turnovers (5 each game) in their first two contest. After a fast start Ottawa's offense really stalled after the 2nd quarter.

On the offensive side of the ball the Eskimos pivot man Reilly?s efficiency over the first two games this season, is a combined 51/75 (68%) for 482 yards and four touchdowns. In Ottawa's one game sample they allowed a 63% completion rate.

At any rate I'll lay the chalk here with the Eskimos.

Montreal gives up TD with 28 seconds left and lose game by one point.....

Yeah - I was watching. That damn INT for a major from Troy Smith was the rel back breaker I thought as I felt the Alouettes had all the momentum up to the point. However in the end if the Al's hold them on one more play it's over on downs.

I've won them like that as well.

Hoping for 2-0 tonight for sure. Oh and nice 2nd half by the Eskimos!!!
