BENGALS +3.5 -139 BIGPLAY

playing this now,i think the steelers will look like shit tommorow and this line will DROP..even if the steelers look good ,there is no way this line goes any higher unless they blowout the jags, and still i would like the bengals,i doubt this line goes against me.
HUGE revenge factor in this game and im getting points.
palmer hasnt looked great ,but he hasnt been bad either. One good thing about palmer getting out of the gate a little slow,The bengal runnung game has looked better than ever so far this year ,and they know they can run the ball, this will help against the steelers.
pitt is a little banged up also and i think they will be even more banged up after playing the physical jags and then have to come off a short week to play a team that has had this game circled for a long time now.
Bengals look like the better team in all areas right now,i think they win outright but once again ill take the points..taking points = less stress..GL.....

11-4 ytd

GIANTS +4.5 -114 large

This will be the 3rd week in a row that im on the giants,im sure the game will be a rollercoaster ride like the previous 2..GMEN have basically played 1 solid hf of football this season and it was good enough to win me a bigplay against the eagles.shouldve won the bet against the colts and lost the philly won but hey,its football.
The giants are very due to play a full solid game, and i think they will, just like they did last year against the seahawks ,they lost but coverd easily..i dont know if they win here but i think they cover the 4.5.
Taking this now b/c there is no way this line gets any higher..seems to me the books have been very generous on ny giant spreads so far this year (if your bettin them)i guess Vegas doesnt believe the hype this year with the gmen..i beleive alot less after the 1st 2 games but i still think they play a solid game, just like trhey did last year against the seahags.
Seahags have started a little slow also and i think this will be a great game, with both teams playing their best games so far this year.i think the seahags are really suffering on the oline, they couldnt run against detroit ,(1st game, road game)but to be not able to run against the cards ,i think there is some problems with that hawk offence..not a good time for that b/c eli is gettin hot,he seems to be a very streaky player so far in his career, lok for a big game out of him and tiki,,whens the last time tiki had back to back bad games??i think he will be ready to go also.

Manning 344 Barber 151 Shockey 127 ,,last years #s in an overtime loss for them, not to mention a few missed fg..this is kind of a revenge game also, the players are actually saying that around here.they were really pissed about losing that gamelast year.they won 3 str8 after that loss last year...they matchup well with the seahawls also.............this line will be 3.5 get now at 4.5 for an extra 5 buks per 100 good value...gl

mon night

mon night

Falcons -2.5 - 116 large

this looks alot like the falcon team that made it to the championship game 2 years ago....nothing like a losing season for a good team to get you motivated and ready to do damage(chargers).
2 games so far their def has been dominate and now they can showcase it on monday night ,they will be jacked and ready yo do.
RUN and def = Wins. they are at the top of both those catergorys so far, they are the nfc version of the chargers.(wont be surprised if they meet in the SB).the panthers didnt even get in the red zone against them, and they bended but did not break against the bucs.
Saints will some backers ,nice story here, but they are going against a team thats playing with a chip.Reggie bush will see some real speed on mon night, that def is fast and vick and norwood on off are just as fast as him also.
The saints look like a good team ,i like how their running their off with deuce and bush, but the complexity of it will hurt against this fast def.
They beat the browns and the pack ,thats not saying much, but you got to give them credit, both games on the road .
This game will be the closest to a college game the pros will get.when you watch this game youll see what i mean.falcons rushing for 300 yrads option in all..the saints having both backs line up as recievers, should be entertaing.
2.5 -116 ,i doubt youll see it get lower than this, grab it now,im thinking 3.5 by gametime...im taking the outstanding def in this won.gl.

Moe,
thx for posting. check the bengals injuries... they lost their starting center, mark pollack, & chad johnson to a concussion in a very physical game yesterday. I read today that Johnson had to be driven home by an assistant coach cause he didn't know where he was. Concussions are weird injuries and it is tough to know at this point whether he will play but that will be a big factor in this game in my opinion.

bengals game iss off right now,but i still think it stays at where i got it.
Giants is still the same sofar +4.5 -116 2$ diffrence, take this now it will get to +4.5 -150..olineman out for seahags and theyve had some major problems their this year, and the giants abused the seahag oline last year.

as of now,all the line movments in my favor .
im a bit surprised at the huge movment in the bengals game.
im hitting a very high % of line movments in my favor by betting these games on sun night.
so far so goood,an injury can kill you by doing this but more times than not im getting great value.

Good luck again this week Moe. As usual your picks look good. I agree with you that the Giants will probably cover, but I just wanted to mention that the injury to Womack may actually help the Seahawks. He was getting absolutely abused the first two games. Spencer replaced him last week and did much better. The only reason Spencer didn't play sooner is because he was a rookie last year and he played Center, not Guard, in college. I do think Spencer on their line is an upgrade over Womack. I think ol' Pork Chop is going to lose his job due to injury. I don't know how much that factored into your pick, but like I said I don't think it will matter. Good luck again...

thxs guys

what factored into my bet more was how the giants manhandled that great oline last year..and the seahawks line is obviously not as good as last years..thats a good piece of info though.i figured it would hurt them but i still think the giants will play their best 60mins of football this year.

Yeah, the Giants D-line is just sick. I think Hasselbeck is going to be feeling the pressure all day long. Detroit sacked him 5 times so you know the G-men will get to him as well...

Panthers -3
the panthers are getting better,i cant say the same for the bucs..im playing this with or without steve smith.but i think he plays.
id rather be relying on delohmme & steve smith and that def, than simms & cadaliac and their def to get out of a 0-2 hole..panthers couldve easily won that game at the vikes and they both got manhandled by the falcons.
panthers started 1-2 last year and i think will match that mark again.they won at the bucs also.
tampa overachieved last year and are in a weird position right now.panthers are thinking superbowl.
i love betting good teams in must win situations, this may not be a must but its pretty close.
im surprised i havnt heard anything about keyshawn playing the bucs.that was a pretty bad divorce.i know key isnt all that anymore but he will be amped and will lay some great blocks.
doubt i sweep the board b/c all my teams are on the road but ive got to play what i see playable..gl

MOE JUST A WORD OF CAUTION CONCERNING YOUR PLAY AGAINST THE SAINTS. I LIVE IN NEW ORLEANS, AND AS YOU WELL KNOW, THIS IS THE SAINTS 1ST GAME BACK SINCE KATRINA. THAT HURRICANE DESTROIED PEOPLES LIVES AS WELL AS OUR CITY. THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY EMOTIONAL GAME. THE BUILD UP FOR THE MONDAY NIGHT OPENER VS ATL IN THE SUPERDOME IS HUGE. THERE JUST NOT PLAYING FOR SAINTS ORGANIZATION.........THERE PLAYING FOR THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS. DUDE, YOU CAN SEE THE DEVASTATION IN THE NEWSPAPERS, TV OR THE INTERNET..........BUT UNTIL YOU SEE IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES YOU , YOU WOULDNT BELIEVE IT. SOME PARTS OF THE CITY LOOK WORSE THAN THE MIDDLE EAST. IM NOT SAYING YOU DONT HAVE THE RIGHT SIDE IN THIS GAME OR AM TRYING TO DISUADE YOU IN ANYWAY, BUT KNOW THE SAINTS ARE GOING TO EXAUST EVERY MEANS OF WINNING THIS GAME FOR THE CITY. PERSONALLY IM NOT TOUCHING THIS GAME. I KNOW ATL IS THE BETTER TEAM AND UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD WIN, BUT THESE ARENT NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES.........ATL COULD BE WALKING INTO A BUZZSAW. NONETHELESS, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PLAY.

Ok, ok, one more comment and then I'll get the hell out of your thread. :mj07: The two games that jumped out at me this week were Car -3 and
Chicago -3. Glad to see you on both.

And I think the good team in a must-win situation is one of the most profitable angles in sports betting. Even better when the team is playing at home...

when i saw this play on sun night at -2.5,i knew i hit paydirt.great value...but as game day is getting closer i am seeing your point.this is going to be huge, emotion can carry you to victory.I just hope the falcons come into this game ready to roll if they do i should be alright if they dont match the intensity your right,it may be over real quick..i think they win a close one.

i guess you saw the bears-3 post, it was supposed to say carolina-3.(it was up for a min)..was looking at the wrong thing while posting....yes im on the bears ,small though..i dont post any wagers that ive played small..i thought i would take them big but just cant pull the trigger on it,while looking at my notes for this game ive come up with a few scenarios that have the vikes winning or covering,so just played my gut feeling small...gl

BILLS -5 med
the jets & bills have both plyed well so far this year, both are 1-1.this is the bills home opener.
the jets cant run the ball!this is a big div game on the road, you need to be able to run.
looking at stats and trends for this game i found something pretty telling in what the bills will do against the jets.WILLIS MCGEHEE.
04.best rushing game of the year 132 at home vs jets.22/17 win
05.best rushing game of the year 143 at home vs the jets.27/17win...and even though i dont like to look to far back at some stuff but i was curios what they did before mcgehee.......
03. best rushing game of the year henry 169 at home vs the jets.17-6 win:scared :scared
02.not the best of the season but ,henry 150 at home vs the jets.31/37 ot loss
jets leading rushers this year ,game 1blaylock 36..game 2 barlow 42...what this week ?52...you cant compete on a regular basis without running the ball in the nfl..the jets have been playing ok so far its time they get hammerd..THEY cant run or stop the run that means trouble...penington over 300yds passing 1st 2 games,i think he will face some pressure against this def ,and has a bad day throwing in buffalo....i just hope they can get the cover but i have no doubt they win this won.the jets off comes back down to earth against this aggresive def.bills will dominate time of poss also..gl.

Of course the katrina emotion thing is a factor, but the one player w/ the biggest emotional connection to New Orleans on either team is Warrick Dunn. His charity toward the city has been unmatched by anyone else in the NFL & he will have more family there watching than anyone else too. He will have a big game. When capping this game I can't escape the fact that ATL takes decisive control of this division w/ a win & they are the better team, especially on defense.... FWIW, I lived in new orleans until katrina & have seen the saints choke many times where all signs point to them having an emotional or situational edge. What better way for things to get back to normal in New Orleans than for the saints to lose a big game?
