Spang I like your Cincy play! Also am gonna ride the BG going into Marshall. The herd has to be a bit beaten after the VT game... in both mind and body.

Cheers

Thanks Irish, I like BG a bit as well and will probably be down for some of that as well. I just want to see if I can get down to 2'.

Also Adding now:

Western Mich -17 for 4 units.

I feel that BG Falcon has this one right and would not be surprised to see this number rise. I just have to imagine that the Broncs will be licking their chops at the thought of lining up against the Redhawks. Miami has not given me any hint at all that they can be competitive with just about anybody. Broncs coach Cubit was furious with his team after giving away the game at Indiana so expect an inspired and much cleaner perormance against a poor Miami team that Western outclasses in every aspect.

Adding:

Akron -4' two units

The Zips are coming off of a shutout of Morgan St. Not a big deal to most but it is here in light of the fact that the Zips have not recorded a shutout in about 10 years. Akron has vowed to defend their new stadiium at all costs and a big crowd will be on hand to root on the home side. Indiana should have tasted defeat at home to W Mich but a late fumble saved the Hoosiers. This will be their first test on the road.

Its a new era at Akron and I don't think that Indiana will threaten the Zips goal of a perfect home record.

Zips 34- 20

Thanks Al, we'll get it going soon.

Adding:

Iowa State -3 one unit

No Jarvis = big problems for Kent.It was very tough to punch a ticket on Iowa State as a road chalk but I still had to place this wager.

I actually think ISU is a good play--Kent's QB(s) suck and I think ISU QB just had a bad game-vs Iowa-watched the whole game and they are not good but not tht bad.-see them covering the spread. GL

You are probably right Hawk, but I just can't manage to hit the Cyclones any harder.

I did find a total that I love.

Indiana/Akron over 45 5 units Best bet.

Very surprised that they set the number this low. Akron will put points on the board and the Hoosiers should be good for a few as well. I think this could be somewhat of a shoot out. I said 34-20 before and I will stand by it.

You would think that would be an over. Who is better toledo or kent st?

As of now,Toledo is the better team and I think that they are much better than Kent.

Kent was bad to begin with and now must cope with the loss of most of their offense. Coach Martin sucks so I expect that Kent will not win more than once or twice the rest of the way.

Toledo has been a bit of a surprise. I wasn't sure what to expect with the coaching change and all, but they have been much improved and they can really move the ball. Thus far Toledo is probably the most improved team in the league.

Liked it all along Hawk, but still going to keep it at just one unit. I have two really big plays out this week and need to take it easy on the rest. After a miserable start, my accounts are now running on fumes. This is a make or break week for me. If I lose my two biggies I'll have to re-up for week 4. I have just enough chesse left to cover a couple of half time plays.:( :(

I think it will be OK, I caught very good numbers on both Cinci and the Akron total.

I have no idea why the others moved, not too concerned yet. I'll have to check out some reports to see if its anything we need to know.

Too late, I have already fired my shots.

You pay attention well Skip, I have not done an audit but it seems as though those bastards are responsible for about half of my net loss for year. That late fumble last week has had my blood in an unrelenting boil all week long.

If they fail me once more, next week you may be reading of some nut with a gun in Kalamazoo.

Good luck this week Skipper

I think I'm gonna let it ride Hawk. I never liked Jacquemain much anyway He can't read defenses well and is pretty sloppy with the ball at times. It would not surprise me to see Rodgers play just as well if not better than CJ. Rodgers also has good legs and can make something out of nothing when his receivers are not open.

As of now, no changes for me. I'll sleep on it and see how the line moves sat morning.

This demonstrates the dangers of pounding something early. Sure, you can find a great number or two but a lot can happen between then and kickoff.
