Yes it would BGFalcon. I am not a hardcore gambler where I'm wagering huge amounts. My units are $25. I rarely stake more than $100 on a game. I'm not wagering $1000's of dollars that I don't have. I'm out to make a little extra money, which I will eventually do, like I do every season. And if I lose, I'm not losing much, at least $ that I won't miss.
If I pick parlays that are low risk, low yield, I can recoup some of that money that I lost in a bad week. I can also play moneyline parlays where my first 2 or 3 games are are slights faves or dogs, and have a later game that's a big dog. If I hit the early games, I make guaranteed money off the late game.
Like I stated when I first started posting, I'm not out to prove I'm a master capper. I'm here to have fun, learn, make a little cash, and most importantly, be more accountable and do a better job of tracking my plays and winnings/losings. So far, I've accomplished all of the above except making cash--that'll come. But now that I can track my bad weeks, I can make adjustments instead of going out and trying to "win the big bet" to try to get back to even.
