Hey Guys, no picks in this thread just looking for some discussion to whittle away a most boring thursday at work.
Lets compare these games, the lines given out weeks ago in the summer and the current line out there now. Is there any value to any of these numbers and any of these sides.
PSU at UM
Summer line: UM -6 1/2
Now: Penn State -3
MSU at ND
Summer line: ND -7 1/2
Now Michigan State -13 1/2
UGA at Bama
Summer line: UGA - 2/12
Now: Bama - 3 1/2
Fla at Ole Miss
Summer line: FLA -15
Now: Fla -23
I also had a summer line for Miami -3 vs A/m tonight, but there has not any real movement there....but thoughts on that game are appreciated as well....i like the Canes.
Buit what about the big swings in those games above. Of course, games have since been played and we know what teams can a can not do, so that accounts for subtle difference between a line released in July and the current one.
Still, those are some pretty big shifts.....how can we take advantage of it.....is there an easy bet that i am not seeing.....discuss.
