YTD: 9-12-2

Bottom fell out with a 2-5 Week 3....even made a crappy 2nd H play in the sunday nighter and the side for MNF, so the week was even worse than what I had posted.

Oh yeah, a big juicy 0-fer in the H/K.

So, since I love you all, I post the following to fade....and to those whose are already on these picks, the first round is on me. Sorry.

Houston +9, -140 over Jax. I know Houston has been on the road the whole season and thats troubling. But, they've rocked this series covering 9 of 12 and have won 3 of 6 straight up meetings in Jacksonville. Classic Sammy for the Jags as well after the huge break through win at Indy last week and the hated Steelers up next. Jaguar games always seem to be played down to the wire, so I'll take a stab here.

Atlanta +7 over Carolina. I said this two weeks ago when the Bears were in Charlotte, but this is the type of game John Fox's teams just have a way of dropping. Panthers are 8-16-1 ATS as a home favorite and have lost three of four outright at home to the Falcons. Carolina is a tough team to figure out from a capping standpoint, but if you fade them as home favs and play them as road dogs, you'll come out ahead. I'm sticking to that gameplan, which is 2-1 this year and 32-15-1 since the start of the 2004 season.

SF +6, -135 over NO. The 49ers have a little offense going and I dont doubt they can score all day against the Saints. I love pulling for NO, but they have a defense that makes them a fade if they're favored. I'll repeat a number thats been posted all over this forum already: Saints are 5-17 ATS the last four years as a home fav.

Leaning to a few others......Tenn, TB and, gulp, the Clowns (why, IDK, they've been killing me).....we'll sit on those thoughts for another half hour and see what happens.

Good Luck!!:weed:

P.S. I just updated the lines I got...they were offered as alternatives, and I am feeling just gun shy enough with my pro picks that I bit on them.....we'll see if its worth it, hopefully it wont matter?

Also, i took the titans to win on the ML at -145....but its too late to post the play....If it hits, I wont be including it in the record.....of course, I wont be including it if it losses either! :142smilie

Looked good there for a while, but I'm headed for a 1-2 day unless something miraculous happens.

You know what to do with this:

Washington +11.5 over Dallas.

2-2 on the day.

For a winning record, I am going to take stab at tonight's Over.

The Over has hit in 15 of the Bears last 19 home games. The winner in Bear home games has averaged 31 ppg. I see a lot of short fields in this game. At least I hope!

Bears/Eagles O39

Good Luck!:toast:
