YTD: 13-14-2

Still searching for something other than a break even type of week. Hopefully these dogs will come with a big bite:

KC +10
Wash +6.5
Miami +7

KC Chiefs +10, -104, over Carolina. Even though the Panthers are 1-0-1 in the role this season, I am still fading this bunch as a home favorite. They were 8-18-1 in that role heading into the year since the start of the 2004 season. For several years, the bet to make was the underdog in Carolina games. Truth be told, its only 4-9-1 in the last 15 games, but the Panthers as a home fav (2-1-1 in that stretch) is not really the role that has blown up this trend. I think its worth staying on this bandwagon today with KC having covered 7 of its last 10 games as a road dog. I like the Chiefs. They look like crap, but I feel they are a sneaky team to follow as they are not as bad as some of their games have shown thus far.

Washington +6.5, +104, over Phily. Eagles are just 3-7 ATS in their last 10 NFC East home games, which pretty much covers the span of seasons since their dynastic grip of the division was shattered. Each of the last three games the Eagles have played have gone down to the wire (vs. Dallas, Pitt and Chicago) and the Skins are as much a quality team of those outfits.

Good Luck!! :toast:

Adding a third:

Miami +7, -135, over San Diego. Dolphins are a home dog, coming off a bye. I like the sound of the that. The Chargers may well be the team to beat in the AFC, but they have had issues this year starting games, finding themselves behind in three of four games well into the contest. Miami wont have the same breakdowns that Oakland had last week and will make this one close to the final gun.

Looks like I might squeak out a 2-1 record on these early games.

I have a trio of 4:15 games:

Arizone -1 over Buffalo x2......no surprise here as it seems like many on this forum are on the Cards. Arizona has won 7 of 9 at home, they're developing a pretty solid home field advantage under Whisenhunt.

Dallas/Cincy Over 44 x2. I expect one of the Cowboys highest point totals of the season in this one.

NE -3 over SF x2......NE has been one of the best road point spread investments in recent years. Yes, they are a shadow of their old selves perhaps without Brady, but I still will take the Brains of Belichek with a week of rest.

Wow....all two unit plays....I will be either reveling or weeping about my new found aggressiveness in a couple of hours.

Good Luck!! :toast:
