The Big 12's playoff hopes took a nosedive with Oklahoma's loss to Texas, as the Sooners' chances to reach the semifinals sank to 14 percent according to ESPN's Playoff Predictor. West Virginia, which beat Kansas in spite of four turnovers, is the league's only remaining undefeated team. While 1-loss conference champs are the playoff norm, OU's schedule strength and its defense would be sticking points with the committee even if the Sooners can run the table

Entering the day, LSU was only allowing 103 rush ypg. Florida already has 110 rushing yards in the second quarter

Leaving Fayetteville with a final thought from Nick Saban on the two first-half plays today that featured Tua Tagovailoa and Jalen Hurts together on the field against Arkansas. Hurts carried the ball on both plays, gaining a total of 32 yards. "We had a few more things we were going to do out of it that we didn't do," Saban said. Beware future Alabama opponents

none of which will make Nick smile

The Rose Bowl is half empty for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff against a top-10 team. All the buzz that arrived with UCLA's hiring of Chip Kelly is gone -- and in a crowded market the Bruins are fading into irrelevancy

welcome to the big time Chip..
