Hi folks,
The above are the early lines available today. I am only going to pick 3 games that I'm pretty sure of (of course, there's no such thing as a sure win...but I'll try my best to analysis the games and I welcome your thoughts and opinions).
game 1 - buffalo vs baltimore -6.5
I am going with Buffalo +6.5. The reasons: J. Lewis and T. Heap are still out. Although Baltimore has a tremendous defense, Buffalo isn't too shabby on their defense either. With the win last week against Miami, the momentum keeps rolling.
game 2 - new orleans -2.5 vs oakland
I'm going with New Orleans -2.5. Last week, they were (almost) able to match Minny with touchdowns for touchdowns (I bet Minny last week to cover at -5.5) but they lost the game. New Orleans Defense sacked Culpepper 4x (I believe) and I think they can do better against Kerry Collins. I know they are very inconsistent (New Orleans), but I think they should be able to win at least by a FG.
game 3 - san diego vs carolina -2.5
I'm going with San Diego. I've been pretty lucky with SD this year...when I bet them to cover, they did. In this game, they have just signed 2 new receivers in K. McCardell & Bobby Shaw. With the new receivers PLUS LT + Brees...I can't see them not covering the spread against an injury plague Carolina team (especially on Defense).
Alternative games:
Atlanta vs Kansas City -4.5
I like Atlanta in this game. With KC's running defense questionable and unable to stop the run, I hope Vick will demolish them along w/ Dunn. Besides, -4.5 is quite a margin to cover against a pretty good defense team in Atlanta.
Dallas vs Green Bay -4.5
I like Dallas. Prior to this season, there weren't many teams that were able to win games in Lambeau Field; however, this year is completely opposite...all visitors have won this year in Lambeau Field. I like Dallas D to sack Favre a few times in this game and contained A. Green.
Well, that's all folks.
Any comments are welcome!
