YTD: 33-28-3
Lost the other night on FAU and am currently on a 3-5-1 run.
Wake -1 over Clemson.......this was a bad matchup for the Deacs the last season, but they had covered five in a row against Clemson before then. Wake is a much better outfit than a lot of those teams that used to play Clemson close a few years ago. I like them at home tonight to get a big win and huge leg up in their acc divisional race.
I do not like Clemson's mind right now. Lot of negativity. Folks would rather see the back up QB play. I sense it might be spiraling out of control.
Wake is coming off a terrible loss, but its still a program on the rise. They are fundmentally more sound than Clemson. I feel Skinner will bounce back. I was impressed with the team speed and physical play in watching them play Florida State a few weeks ago, so they're not going to be out-athleted in tonights game. They are a better football team.
Give me Grobe over Tommy any day, especially now that the football talent gap between the programs has seemingly evaporated.
The Deacs are 16-9-1 ats in ACC games.
