I apologize, but I don't have any write ups right now. We had an anthrax scare at my workplace today (white powder in mail - test results take a while), so I really don't feel up to writing at the moment. Almost all of my research was done last night, so I figured I wouldn't let it go to waste.

I'll be out of town all weekend, so I probably won't get around to a write up, either. Again, I apologize.

CLEVELAND AT CHICAGO
1st Half Line: Chicago -3, o/u 17.0

One stat: Each team's average halftime total is 12 points.

PICK: 1st Half Under 17.0 (-120) (1x)

BALTIMORE AT PITTSBURGH
1st Half Line: Pittsburgh -1, O/U 16.5

If each game these two teams played had a halftime o/u of 16.5, the combined under would be 9-4. Tough divisional battle, tough defenses, soft offenses. If this were a night game, I'd take the over prop on punts.

PICK: 1st Half Under 16.5 (1x)

PENDING PICK: Unless the winds are 30+ mph and/or it is *seriously* raining, I will take Miami/Carolina 1st Half Over 17.0 for a 2x pick. In the event the weather looks to be a complete non-factor, it becomes a 4x pick. Not sure I'll get online to post it, so it probably won't count. Just wanted to give a heads up. I had it marked at Over 18 before news of the weather hit, and I don't take overs. (My 16 first half total bets have all been unders, if I recall correctly)

Here are my question mark games. I may get back in the mood to finish capping them, and I may not. So far, I have played about one-third of these "question mark" games.
Dal @ NYG Under 17.5
GB -3
Phi @ Ari Under 20.0
Sea @ Was Over 19.0
Sea -1

These are lines I am leaning towards, but was unable to finish. The other question marks I have were going to be picks, then I learned of the weather problems that may hit the Atlantic coast. I was going to take New England +1.5 and Over 21, but I need to research the weather, and I don't have the energy right now.

Good luck.

Adding another one for now.

CAROLINA AT MIAMI
1st Half Line: Miami -5, O/U 17.0

So far, it does not look like the weather will play a big factor here. 30% chance of rain, 20 MPH winds.

I've been hearing a bit on how Miami can't score. According to my records, they're averaging 21.67 pts/gm. so far. The average total of a Dolphin game has been 43.5. Only one of their six games has gone under 17 at halftime.

PICK: 1st Half Total Over 17.0 (3x)

Came home early, so I may have a chance tonight to finish the other games.

Good luck.

Hope all is OK with you PacMan on the workplace scare. Like both of your 1st half unders (Bears under 17 and Steelers under 16.5) Tough defenses all around and may take the offenses awhile to get untracked in both games if they do at all.

Thanks geno. I just saw on news the US Postal Service has investigated 8,600 anthrax hoaxes so far. That eased my nerves a bit.

Adding a couple of halftime bets.

PICK: New England at Atlanta 1st Half Over 21.0 (1x)

PICK: Detroit at San Francisco 1st Half Under 24.0 (1x)

Good luck.
