Week 8 Thoughts!

Game 1 of the week, Sask. at Ott. - My other thread has the over and not sure on the side with this one even though the Roughies look tempting.

Game 2 of the week, Ham. at Mt. - We all know how bad Ham. is but are they more than 3 TD's worse than the Als? Very tempted to take the points. As for the total, going to stay away due the uncertainty of the Ti-Cats.

Game 3 of the week, Cal. at B.C. - Too many key injuries. Will Dickenson play at QB for the Lions? Who will start for the Stamps at QB? Lions at 9.5 pts. seems like alot but that all depends on the all important position of QB. The over in this game might be the way to go as they should score a ton of pts. on the carpet in the Dome.

Game 4 of the week, Tor. at Edm. - Eskies at 4.5 looks tempting. Argos are very dependant on Allen and he looked to be playing hurt last week with that sore hand as many balls he threw were either short or too long. Then with the lower back injury he sustained at the end of the game it makes you wonder how his health is. Eskies still don't look anything like the team they were last year and Pringle looks to be a step slower at RB. If Ray can get it going at QB then maybe the Esks win by a TD. With the game on grass I am leaning to the under.

All comments and thoughts are welcomed! Lets put our heads together and win some $$$$$$$

I admit I don't know CFL, but isn't 21 pts unchartered territory. Games tend to be more competitive than that.

Any chance that Montreal will take Ham lightly?

Game #1... My largest play of the year... Sask -5.... Sask D won't take anyone lightly..... they are trying their best to Pitch a Shut out this year.... so look for them to play tough... A win for Sask keeps them in 1st... chance for them to pull away.... Offence is clicking fairly well.... died off late last game but still looked pretty good lately... also Holmes should be back.. basically this team has momentum... only 2 losses against Montreal and Winnipeg... and they just barely lost both of those.... this team could be 7-0...... Sask. 6-1 ATS this year... with an avg win of 9.7 pts per game... OTT 4-3 ATS with an avg. loss of -9.6 pts per game...

All 7 of OTT games have gone over..... so that is in your favour horns.... only thing that worries me about that is if the Riders shut them down.... Joseph will have to face the toughest Pass D in the league....

#2.. -21 looks high.... but if you take a look Ham has lost 3 games out of the 7 so far by more than 21pts.... and 2 games by 17 pts.... including last weeks game against a winnipeg team that has been out of synch... and Hamilton looked improved and still lost by 17.... they have lost by an avg of 23 pts per game.... on the other hand Montreal hasn't really blown too many out.... but then again they haven't faced Hamilton yet.... I'll probably pass on it... but if had too would prob lean towards Montreal.... Can't find a ML... if I could I would hammer it this week and next week.. as there is no way in hell that Hamilton beats Montreal....

#3.. This one all depends on Dickenson.... if he plays then BC Covers..... if he doesn't play then it becomes a lot harder for BC to cover.... Doesn't matter who starts for Cal..... Dickenson plays take BC.... he doesn't then i'd pass..

#4.. Did Edmonton get back in Synch after beating Hamilton??? may find it a lot tougher against TO's D..... tough one to call here... pass for now....

Great stuff Korn. Good points about Sask. The 2 games they did have a problem was when the QB had the ability to run which Joseph has so that could be in the 'Gades favour. Davis and Bendross will have big games tonight against their former team. That in itself is good enough for me to play the over. Each team will have its tough games this year and why not tonight. GL

They are smart at knowing when to run and when to pass. When they make a decision to run or pass they do it. They don't hesitate and change their mind in the middle of a play. Jones has not had the kind of year he would like but his line has been brutal for him. Personally, I think Calvillo and Dickenson are the best QB's in the league. Jones over the past 2 years has been awesome but this year he has had a drop off. Anyways, sorry for the confusion, I did not explain myself. I should have said two of the more smarter exp. QB's in the league is what I should have said, I was in a rush. GL
