Yeah, I thought of you. I didn't follow but I did check the box score during a mid night piss stop.
The bobbled ground ball error for the 3rd out? I definitely would have made that play. Then the left fielder falling down? GMAFB.
Didn’t seem real. 40 years of watching this chit. Have never seen back to back errors like that to lose a game. That’s little league chit. Incredible.

I feel your pain and frustration. Perhaps the worst beat of my life was a 9th inning 2-out error by Chipper Jones in 2000 while John Rocker was pitching. It was surreal—almost like it happened in slow motion. That error not only cost me that big game, but also killed otherwise winning parlays where all the other teams I played had already won. Substantial amount of money, especially because I was in my first year working in the real world in Chicago after graduating college and I made reckless parlays like those more often. I remember the swing from that was more than 25% of my yearly salary back then. I ended up skipping my friends and my bi-monthly trip to Vegas as a result.
Btw - I have had the Dodgers both yesterday and today fairly big and their 9th inning collapses have hurt me this weekend too. I try to tell myself that these things even out over time, but it sucks regardless. This will turn around for you

absolutely no way these things even out. 😂 not even close. There’s a reason why all the books are making billions upon billions. For every 10 games I’ve lost in the 9 th or late in the game. Maybe I’ve had to 2 or 3 go my way. Endless beats always outweigh the lucky wins. Always. They let us bet these games for a reason.
I have the Twins down 0-2 top of nine. Men on 2nd and 3rd no outs. You think I'll be the beneficiary of a melt down?
