S. Florida (-7) over Rutgers
Bought the hook. When you look at this game two things stand out. Rutgers lack of talent on offensive line and the Bulls talent on defense. Rutgers have to deal with players not playing on an offensive line that wasn't good to begin with. I would expect Nova to have a tough time all night and really struggle to get anything going for the knights offense. On the opposite side of the ball, HOW LONG HAS BJ DANIELS BEEN AT South Florida... goodness it seems like that guy signed a team year contract. I think that win in Nevada last week really helps pull this team together that has a lot of pieces in place to make Big East waves. When looking at this game rutgers will lean on the defense to keep them in it but I think they get tired and the bulls put points on the board. Then the lack of rutgers offense puts that tired defense back on the field and then south florida can pull away. Rutgers is 101 in NCAA in pass offense so they are not going to test the bulls through the air. Thats against TULANE AND HOWARD!! Now the Bulls have averaged 303 throught the air and rutgers is giving up 169 against poor teams. The bulls have the better offense, better defense, advantage on defenseive line against offensive line and home field. I'll ride the bulls tonight. Bought the hook but I don't think I needed to because as the game goes on I think the knights wear down.

FYI... riding the bears (+6) over GB... got it earlier in the week. GB defensse just shocked me last week and I think Cutler picks them apart while the defense plays pass as GB has no run threat.

So true! I remember the guy coming off the bench as a freshman when Jim Leavitt was HC.

Well that was fun. Backed two QBs that threw about seven picks combined.

Wash st (-8) over UNLV
This is a gross game. Leach is going to make Wash st better but not with these players. UNLV is just bad. They are going to run the ball all night. Can either team make plays? I'm leaning on the spread offense to make Wash st more productive will UNLV just struggles pounding the run. QB health is unknown of Tuel but I kinda like the sophomore back up better. Either way they both have experience and the better system. UNLV does not have the chemistry in the secondary to cover this team. Confusion leads to open wide receivers. Wash st get ahead and stays on top. Only way it fails is if UNLV runs very well and grinds wash st down. Then we see the timing become an issue based on time of possession. Still Leach gets my vote and even though both defenses are suspect wash st makes more big plays.

Not a lot of time for write ups.... Nice job Leach up 15 with four to play.

Tennessee (-3) vs Florida
The vols showed a lot in the past games and I am not sold on Florida slightly. They have a duel threat QB but they just dont look like the gators of old. They struggle on the deep baqll and they have a tough time stopping the the other team on offense. I don't think this coach really has the ability to coach these kids to the talent level they need. This team will be energentic at home. Now Florida has more of a power back but I think the Vols have better passing offense. I think the Vols can move the ball and slow the team down if they stack the box. Should be a good game but both these teams are not the teams of old and the Vols move forward.

VT (-12.5) over Pitt
Play on how bad Pitt is and how VT can run over them and shut them down. Looking at VT they have a fast LB group but they don't have the stand out of years past. That being said hey play good team defense and Pitt is just trash on offense. They run slants and run theball, VT can shut that down completely. On offense the VT line has not impressed but they haqve the better qb and I think they can really hammer this team deep. The hokies will be the bettr team and push the panthers around as the game goes on. Pitt is a few plays away from just not having anything to play for and VT gets on top and then its hanging head time for the panthers as VT continues to run on them.

USC (-10) over stanford
I am pretty sure last week was a sleep walk game for USC. They were looking at this game ever since last year. The Cards have put te trojans in their place the past few years and this is a time to get a little payback. The trojans are too deep and fast on offense for stanford. You can see that last year USC closed the gap and Stanford was coming back to earth and this year it will be like years past where USC is the better team and stanford just cant keep pace. Barkley will have a good day. Stanford plays good team defense but nothing special. They will do their jobs well but USC out plays them. I think USCD can keep the Stanford defense off balence and as the game goes on they should be able to pick and choose positive plays. Lot of chalk on the road but I see this team motivated and talented to make a statment at the farm.

Wake (+28) over FSU
Too much chalk here. FSU has played no one and they normally play this team poorly. I think FSU is a very good team but I think Wake is a very crafty team. They are pesky and just do enough to disrupt a little. I am not saying they win but 4 TD's to an ACC team wit veteran players against an FSU tea that is over confident and has not bee tesed is good value for me.

TCU (-21) over Kansas
This is based on Wies not having any talent to stay with TCU on offense and have no defense to stop the frogs. This will be one sided as long as TCU comes to play. Kansas always plays tougher at home but they just don't have the firepower on either side of the ball. Patterson should have the defense where it needs to be to limit and even stop the Kansas offense. Panchal will pass all over Kansas and the quick underneath routes will noty be stopped by the LB's and the deep plays will be too fast for the safeties. Speed on the outside and an option threat with the back up qb means too much for a bad Kansas defense to contend against.

ND (+4) over Mich St
Just always take the points in this match up. Seems like it plays close and in the end both teams are on the same level and both want this game.

Louisville (-3) over UNC
Like the cards and their QB against a carolina tea that is talented but under achieving. I worry about this beacuse it will come down to which QB makes the better choices. I like Louisville as a runner but UNC is deceptive but Louisville will have more motivation.

Texas (-10) over Ole Miss
Just goingon talent here. Ole miss does not have the horses but Texas is not impressive so ten on the road is scary but I think Mack Brown see's this as a big game and has his kids primed and ready. That means if both teams come in wanting to win normally talent determines the winner and thats where I back the horns.

GL to everyone today.

Cheers
