Mentioned this in the Holiday thread yesterday... The Sixers have covered every game at home so far in 2017, that's 13 straight. I'm on em again tonight. Played this small and early on the overnight line. I'll probably add some at +5.

Jahlil Okafor - C - 76ers
Jahlil Okafor (right knee soreness) will not play against the Pistons on Saturday.
This probably has something to do with the 76ers being on a back-to-back set. Okafor did have a rib injury on Friday to limit him, but his right knee has been a problem since his rookie season. Assuming Richaun Holmes (calf) can play through a probable tag, he's an extremely strong play today. He's also worth a pickup in most leagues just in case Okafor needs to miss more time.

A note on Okafor being out:

Contrary to the line movement in favor of the Pistons, this is actually a good thing for Philadelphia. Out of 453 qualifying players in the NBA, Okafor is DEAD LAST in Real Plus/Minus (-5.74) and ranked 452 of 453 players in the estimated number of wins (-1.57) he has contributed to his team's win total on the season. This was the main reason I hated the Noel trade so much. Not because Dallas fleeced them, but because they traded the wrong guy AND they probably could have gotten more back for Okafor because he's younger. So, if they Sixers are better without Okafor on the floor, I'd have to say they line move only benefits us here.
