HEINEKEN CUP ( Rugby Union )

CALVISANO +48 to beat Leicester 1.5 points
Leicester will win but by more than 48 points is debatable. L ast year these teams met twice with Leicester winning 31-7 and 37-3.

SUPER LEAGUE ( Rugby League )

BRADFORD @ 11/10 to beat St. Helens ( outright ). 1 point
There's nothing to choose between these two sides. Bradford beating the Saints two weeks ago by 2 points at Knowsley Road. This was the first time St. Helens had lost at home for a year. This game will (should) be close and at the prices the value is certainly with the Bulls.

Total units staked 13 points

update

The weekend was not a profitable one but what damage there was, was only minimal.
The results on the football in the English divisions has been a struggle so far, I don't know why? but as with the NFL the results will settle down and resume their normal course. I am pleased the way the results are going in the Scottish football and I really do not know why bookmakers accept bets in the lower divisions as some games are priced way out of line. Form at times can be topsy - turvy but thats to be expected. Overall this is a good area in which to exploit the bookmakers.

The winners on the weekend were
LUTON TOWN
HULL CITY
HIBERNIAN
ST. JOHNSTONE
INVERNESS

These returned 12.01 points so the loss was 0.99 points.

The rugby bets were a disappointment, Bradford in particular because they outplayed St. Helens all game but gave away silly scoring opportunities. A big blunder by the referee not to award a penalty to Bradford with less than a minute to go was scanderlous. It appears the ref took the easy option by turning a blind eye from making the call.

I will further update today with total profit to date.
