Out of form Manchester City are a big price to win at Birmingham City. Sunderland are decent value to pick up their first win for new manager away at Bolton.
QPR winners of 6 games from 7 at home this season are a stand out price to beat Oldham, and Luton winners for us last week are starting to find their form are a fair price to beat Wigan.
Hull City are also a stand out bet to beat poor travellers Rushden & Diamonds at Boothferry Park. Since the appointment of new boss Peter Taylor, the Tigers have won twice and scored seven goals. Rushden have won once away from home this season. Hull have the impetus right now and the strike force is beginning to click.
Scunthorpe are in a good run of form and should win at home against Torquay. Torquay have lost their last 3 games conceding 10 goals, while Scunthorpe have made steady improvement.

Manchester City @ 12/5 1.5 points
Sunderland @ 9/4 1.5 points
Luton Town @ 13/8 1.5 points
QPR @ 1/1 1.5 points
Hull City @ 6/5 1.5 points
Scunthorpe @ 11/10 1.5 points
Livingston @ 11/5 1.5 points
Ross County @ 6/4 1.5 points
Cowdenbeath @ 13/8 1.5 points
Peterhead @ 7/4 1.5 points

Total points staked 15 points

For those who like to take a higher risk may like to back these ten teams in trebles which is 120 bets.

Present balance + 14.61

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

To say I am a little dissapointed would be an under statement.

Luton led 1-0 only to draw with a late goal against them.
QPR led 1-0, only to gift two goals and lose at home foe only the second time this season.
Hull also led only to surrender their advantage.
Peterhead came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 and 3-2, yet still only drew.
The same scenario tonight with Sunderland leading 1-0 only to finish up drawing.
On the bright side there were wins for Manchester City, Scunthorpe, and Livingston.
A return of 13.05 points, a loss on posted bets of 1.95 points.

Profit to date +12.66 points

What at one time looked a promising weekend with 7 of the 10 games at one stage going in our favour, to return a loss is hard to stomach. However, that is sports betting and there will be times when a last minute goal will go in our favour.

Best wishes to you all, until next thread, bye for now.

BB - have you considered playing the asian handicap instead of w/d/l for your british football plays?

I know after switching myself this season it's proved a lot more profitable personally and I'd never go back.

Keen on your thoughts...

Yes, at times I thought of playing on the Asian handicap market where the draw is taken out of the equation, however, unless you are playing the underdog the price for 1/2 goal start on the favourite is way to short and becomes unviable.
If you have any suggestions which would help me to increase my profits I would be glad to here from you.
You can e-mail me via my home page on the community pages at madjacks found under free tips.
Look forward to hearing from you.

All the best.
