Philadelphia -3.5

This has nothing to do with the weather. Philly is the better team playing better football right now. Last year, they handled the Bucs just fine with a much worse team. Last week, there subs beat the Bucs subs in Tampa Bay. And I guess that pesky cold weather streak doesn't hurt.

Jets +4.5

Oakland just hasn't been playing well lately. They look like a team that is self-destructing. Theres no telling what Ecstacowski is gonna have growing on his leg this week. Also, if its a close game you can almost gaurentee Gannon will mess it up at the end. How many times have we seen it this year. Gannon leads a late drive and just as the Raiders are threatening, he makes some bonehead mistake. I might even take New York on the ML for a small play.

Green Bay -3.5

The Niners are overrated in my opinion. Also rule one in gambling is never go against the Pack at the Frozen Tundra. I love betting on Favre. No matter how bad they are losing you always feel as if you're still in the game. And usually, you are. I also love going against teams with the "we don't get along" off the field soap opera going. Oakland is the same way. Green Bay has never lost a playoff game at home and I like them to win this one easy.

Miami -2.5

If rule one is never to go against the Pack at Lambeau, Rule 2 is never to bet on a team led by Elvis Grbac in the post season. This game will come down to which Jay Fiedler shows up. The guy looks like a hall of famer one week and Heath Shuler the next. Baltimore brings their overrated D into this one and being the defending champs will probably have the public on their side too.

Good Luck,

Thinking the exact same thing in the games.

Oakland is weak, they only beat Sandiego, and struggled to do it. Gannon can't stretch the field at all, leading to team's shutting their horizontal passing attack down. This game was already won last week, nothing will change in 1 week.

Eagles will shut down Keysahwn Johnnson with Taylor or Vincent, bucs have little else in their passing game. B johnson has struggled in Philly, and has all kinds of trouble vs Blitzing teams due to his slow throwing release.

Miami is the play, I love that rule Don't bet On Elvis, If anything else he is a CHOKER and won't win a playoff game. Look at this, he managed 19 points vs the Leagues worst defense. 4 field goals and 1 TD off a fumble return. Miami's D is just a tad better than the Vikings and it's on the ROAD.

I still like the Eagles in this game. But what worries me though is the Dungy factor. Personally, I believe that Tampa Bay will have go to the Super Bowl for him not to be fired. I know the players like him though. Does anyone think thats enough incentive to pull them through this one?

I don't like the way they match up with Philly but in a sense, they've got more to prove. At the same time, I don't think incentive is ever much of a factor in the playoffs as obviously both teams want to win. I also think the words Brad Johnson, Starter, and playoffs should NEVER be in the same sentance? How do you all think the Dungy factor will play out. I'm still leaning strongly toward the Eagles, just want opinions.

Eric Dickerson

Eric Dickerson

Don't laugh but Eric Dickerson has called just about every Monday Night game this year. I know the guy is te worst sideline reporter ever. (Yet at the same time, MNF wouldn't be the same without him).

He likes the Eagles today which makes me like my pick a little better. Trust me, ED knows what he is talking about. Just know that when they throw it down to him and he starts reporting about his own career and how Alstott is not a good running back, he's on our side!
