Weekend wrapup, Mondays plays

2-0 on the season, with Stanford helping me out Saturday night and easily covering the 5 against NM. I wont be playing a lot of games per day, at the most two or three, but the games I play I will be playing big.

Todays plays:
Sienna - 2.5

George Mason +7 - I am partial to playing big on small schools I know more about than large schools where I have to rely on my interpertation of mostly public information. I live next door to GM and after seeing 4 of their starters score in double figures against Niagra, I think they can win this outright. They have some solid outside shooters, and newcomer to the team Darren Tarver broke out with 29 points and appears to be the new player they needed to fill a void from last year.

Maybe a small play on Kansas today, waiting on one final piece of info.

What is your take on NC-Wilmington? Miami had that game tied with under a minute I believe, at Wilm. Miami is a tough place to play. Curious!!!!!!!

Miami is a tough place to play and NCW is a good team. However Miami looked abysmal in that game, shooting 26% from the floor. Now you could look at it two ways. 1 - They should have won the game or 2 - Maybe their offense isnt completely together yet. I will take #2.

On top of that Mason has a strong offense who have the potential to break out at any time in the game - as they showed by shooting 64% in the second half of their first game. Last year, Mason beat Miami by 14, shooting 50% for the game and again, 65% in the second half.

I see another strong performance from Tarver and Jesse Young in this game. Look for Mason to domniate the second half and pull away to win outright.

Took 3 more units on Mason. Talked to a friend who did color last year for Mason, agrees this number is surprisingly high.
