The biggest news for the past week would have to be Barry Bonds hitting his 715th home run to finally pass Babe Ruth?s 714 mark. Hopefully for Bonds and the rest of the world, his steroid issues and hitting home runs won?t be the only thing featured in the sports news. Run-Line and parlay bettors especially had a great week betting baseball, and with trends like approximately 40% of Oakland games being decided by one run, it maybe one reason some of our players who respect historical stats are doing well. Our players who are following our live second half baseball prices also had a good week.

NBA has been terrific with the amount of bets and money placed on every playoff game. The series match up of Miami and Detroit in particular has been one of our biggest ever series. Our biggest players decided to hook up Miami in many of his parlays, which included various baseball games and totals and came away with a winning week of well over $700,000!

The ?Field? won the Fed EX St Jude Classic this week with Jeff Maggert not in our top 25 players quoted. The field price was +150 and while it seems a low price, it has won many times this year, but yet not many golf bettor?s like to bet it.

Motor heads had a jam packed Sunday with the Indy 500 in the morning, and then the NASCAR Coca Cola 600 in the afternoon. Sam Hornish Jnr was a well supported winner of the Indy 500 having been bet from 5/1 to +375 at the start of the race. Kasey Kahne didn?t have the same support however with his odds opening at 10/1 and closing at 13/1.

Arena football is winding down now with only the Conference Championships and Arena Bowl left to play. Considering how Arena football seems to be a bettor?s paradise, we won?t be sad to see it finish. The past week however was one for the bookmakers, but not enough to make up for the whole seasons losses!

Until next week,

Shane Catford
