I dont think Martin was the problem! He has made the team better, he a good coach and to put everything down on really 1 game is pretty stupid.. consider this... Sens have been playing great in regular season for the past 3 years. Sens outplayed Toronto this year but just ran into EDDIE. Lalime is CRAPPPPPPPP. I dont even know How and Why he was their number 1 goalie for soo long. The reason they lost game seven was Lalime played like crap and his team didnt play much better in game 7. All the other games were games Ottawa should have one.
I know you cant get rid of the team and firing a coach and putting a different coach will put a fire under the players a$$ but still.
Firing Martin IMO is not the solution. they shoudl have gotten rid of Lalime LOOONG time ago.. Its the players who play hockey, not the coach. It is important to motivate players and game plan but this isnt football. Hockey requires PLAYERS to play rather than outstanding coaching and strategy..
Just my opinion... Good luck with your Sens next year. I am sure without Lalime they will be tons better!
