Outright plays (total stake per play: 1.5pts)

Paula Creamer to win 16/1 e.w. @ Ladbrokes
Last week's lowly finish was to be expected. She had never played the course previously and she was coming off a wire-to-wire win in Japan the previous week. A return to her previous form or at least her form of last week's first round is expected this week on a course on which she has previously competed - she finished 18th last year. This year she is a very different player with three wins and five top-3 finishes in her last ten strokeplay events. With Annika making her course debut and with only one win in her last five starts (against a much weaker field in Sweden), this looks a very good chance for another Creamer win.

Hee-Won Han to win 22/1 e.w. @ BetInternet
Han's record in this event and in Ohio is definitely worthy of note! In three attempts in this event, she has finished 2nd in 2002, 1st in 2003 and 2nd only via a playoff loss last year; in her other Ohio event, the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic, she has finished 2nd and 3rd (last month) in her last two visits. So with a top-3 finish in Ohio last month and a top-10 finish in the Safeway Classic last week, the signs are that she will continue her amazing form at Tartan Fields.

Soo-Yun Kang to win 125/1 e.w. @ BetFred
Does the BetFred compiler know that Kang was a wire-to-wire winner last week? It was her maiden win on the LPGA Tour, but having been a multiple winner of the KLPGA Money List before earning her LPGA Tour Card, she certainly has the potential to follow up her impressive win. Available at no more than 66/1 elsewhere, at which I would be hesitant at that price, she is extremely overpriced at these odds.

Matchup plays (1.5pts):

Helen Alfredsson to beat Birdie Kim -105 @ NordicBet
Continuing to oppose the U.S. Women's Open champion who has a best finish of 29th since her win; Alfredsson has finished 5th and 7th in two of her last three events.

Karine Icher to beat Stephanie Arricau -189 @ NordicBet
Short odds, but pretty hard to ignore the fact that Icher has finished ahead of Arricau in each of their last ten common events.

Catriona Matthew to beat Heather Bowie -105 @ Centrebet
Matthew is the defending champion and has finished behind Bowie only six times in twenty common events over the past year.

Carin Koch to beat Laura Davies -110 @ BetFred
Both players showing some form, but Koch has the edge in finishing ahead of her opponent in each of their last three common strokeplay events.

Pat Hurst to beat Stacy Prammanasudh -182 @ NordicBet
Backing the winner in seven of their last eight common events and who finished 15th on her last appearance here.

Mi Hyun Kim to beat Soo-Yun Kang -109 @ Centrebet
Backing the extremely-consistent Kim, despite last week's result, as her record of 1st, 13th and 6th on this course should be continued this week.

Outrights - FINAL RESULT: 1-1; +0.75pts

Creamer 2nd
Han 55th
Kang VOID

Holding a three-shot lead, it looked ominous when Creamer bogeyed the last two holes of her 3rd round. In the end, she finished one shot behind Cristie Kerr who had her worst round of the week, but it was still enough to beat Creamer. The Kang bet was voided by BetFred as a palpable - they had confused Soo-Yun with Jimin Kang.

Matchups - FINAL RESULT: 4-2; +2.72pts

Alfredsson/Kim WON by 8
Icher/Arricau WON by 3
Matthew/Bowie WON by 10
Koch/Davies LOST by 3
Hurst/Prammanasudh WON by 6
Kim/Kang LOST by 7

More profitable matchups on this Tour to offset frustration with the outrights.

LPGA Tour ytd
Outrights: 14-40; +10.08pts
Matchups: 37-17; +54.50pts

72 hole matchups

Morgan Pressel -111 to beat Meena Lee
Sophie Gustafson -118 to beat Meg Mallon
both at Centrebet

Gustafson leads by 7 going into the last round and loses by 1. Australia loses to England at cricket. And I manage to shoot under my handicap on Saturday. I dont know which was the bigger shock.
