Can you believe the nerve of Jose Mourinho saying he has the toughest job of all the managers? Yea right....it sure is tough to be able to buy anyone you want and then pick the names of your starters out of a hat.

I can't stand how teams can buy an unfair advantage over everyone else and not be penalised. Its not just in soccer though as the New York Yankees will quickly point out.

Saying that....I plan on unloading a load of dough on Chelsea to win the Premiership (-120 or thereabouts).

Yeah, I hate Chelsea and they way they are buying their titles, but that did not stop me from unloading on Chelsea at -120 either along with Liverpool at 15-1 as a long shot.

means nothing,,ive always liked dc and they are 1st class,no way they are a big underdog in a game like this,,dc is in midseasonform against a team in training camp in another country,,dc should have gotten a result.......do agree with you about american sooccer coming along, but that game is not a good example of it.....we have a good youg national team, they will be together for awile,,watchout u.s will be in the final 4 of a world cup in2010 0r 2014 no doubt in mind...bruce arena is the most underrated soccer figure in the world..i havent been around lately ,cashed in and took a summer break.good to see some more soccer posts

Not only will the US make the final 4 but they will win it by 2014. Bold prediction indeed. The enrollment of kids 10 years ago tripled from when they hosted the WC and it continues to grow. These kids will be adults by 2010. The US have been recruiting ex professional players and coaches to teach the youngsters too. The chicks have been an inspiration in their success also. To be honest, I expect a quarter final next year....possibly semi-finals.

olny if they get in the right group,,they got lucky last time to end up playing against mexico ,then unlucky against the germans,,i was more confident last world cup than this one but there is still time..like the emergence of #4 on defence,,was at the game against panama i forget his name,i follow the game and sport hard, but i just dont know where the hell this guy came from, big black guy was solid and young.so their is time for this team to get better for the worldcup..
