The way they have been playing on offense...I wouldn't lay this many. Mountaineer Field is a tough environment, especially at night...but, I suggest a play on the dog or no play at all. :sadwave:

I agree, anybody got any stats on Syracuse after coming off a bye week? Syracuse looked good against Florida St. West Va hasnt looked 15 pts ahead of any margainal team.

Syracuse 83rd (182 ypg * 4.6/carry) in rushing D while W VA is 7th (257 ypg & 5.3 /carry) in rushing. Scary difference. Dependes on which Syracuse team shows up. Florida St Syracuse or Purdue Syracuse.

Like the under right before game time (it will go up probably) Both teams have only made the over 1 this season combined!!

Kay Jay is playing

Kay Jay is playing

He took the green jersey off in practice and will play.

I still think that is too many points.

Still too many points with kay jay
Victor i dont think we will see the purdue syracuse again this season, they just wernt ready for that game. They have been playing very well since and i think they have covered the spread in their last 3 games. Regardless they should be able to get a couple scores and cover. Seems like a 28-17 game to me
Good Luck Wilson
Always look for you wva imput and the line has rose to 16.5 now

WVU has a great record in night games during the week over the last few years on the road and at home. Kinda like you Wilson, a lot of points, but don't want to feel like a dumb ass and ignore their recent weekday record ATS. May steer clear of this game myself, but if I play, I'm takin the mountain men.

Cuse off a bye recently are 2-2 ATS and 3-1 SU

I'd be worried about laying the wood here as well with WV playing a weaker schedule to this point and having this stretch of soft teams...UConn, Cuse, and the ever deadly Rutgers, all in a row. The other problem is turnovers. If it's a bit slickity out like Fletch was saying those could play a big role. Each team takes and gives a lot of turnovers. Too unpredictable. Also, WV hasn't played at home in nearly a month. This layoff may be good or bad. Syracuse may have a woody after loosing by only four last week to the Noles.

Of course if they show up, they could easily blow this team out. WV had a ton of penalties last week and was missing one of there better players and still covered, even though it could have gone the other way late.

Btwn the weather, all the turnovers, and the penalties, picking a winner here will be tough.

I played the Over (50-)

Line shooting up even with the bad weather.

Cuse should score at least 21 here IMO.

GL on your action
