Fat Ralph owns WVU...WVU may win a tight one...but, I don't see how anybody could lay 7 and take WVU. I just don't see it.

WVU wins this game at home by 10+ just watch, hell they have only played starters a half of each game the first 2 games they have be able to use 2 and 3 deep at all spots and they all got good time in those games, you will see, this is not the same maryland team as last 3 years and it will show on sat. On both sides of the ball wvu will win the battle of the lines and the running game.

Wilson you are right that the turtles have owned the neers in the past, but this is a different UM squad. WVU is too big up front for UM and will own the line of scrimmage. Plus the veteran QB and running back are no longer there for UM. Fletch I agree they win by double digits. Especially because UM has owned they WVU (with the better team) @ home will come out with a big chip on their shoulder!!

Not only is KayJay probably not going to play...but, Colson is hurting, too.

I watched WVU play Central Florida and they were giving up some big chunks on the ground..this scares me. WVU dbacks have looked soft on run support in both games this year.

I just think Maryland is one of those teams that WVU has a mental block...I ain't playing it...I hope they cover...but, I don't see it. Maybe ML..but, no 7 from me.

Maryland might be without Josh Allen, but they shouldn't have too big of a dropoff because Sammy Maldonado is pretty good. He originally went to Ohio State but transferred because of Clarett. This Maryland team is 0-2 ATS so far this year, but they have been laying a lot of points to Northern Illinois and Temple. Neither team has had a real test yet. I'm shying away from it, but you gotta hand it to the Fridge. Last year they must have beaten West Virginia in the two games by a combined 50 points or so.

Call this inside info..just got this email about Wed practice...

Kay Jay took a few reps and is improving every day. The next 48 hours will be the key as to whether he will be able to contribute on Saturday. He's not running 100% obviously and the good news is that it's not an injury that he can hurt any worse, just a matter of when it heals. The team is preparing like he isn't going to be available, but let's keep our fingers crossed and hope he can play. This team will be ready to play on Saturday.

Todd-

In the last 4 games combined...Maryland has jumped to leads without WVU scoring 100-0. Amazing stat against a team that has went 12-2 vs Big East (2 losses to Miami) last two years.

And that one loss to Miami would have been a win had Winslow not made that remarkable catch on 4th down.
I'm staying away from the game. I have already decided that. Just trying to lend some insight to people who want to play it.
I think the oddsmakers made the perfect number with seven on this one.
