Good Day everyone, I seem to be in the minority here,but if there was ever a game with a false favorite, this is it. I'm sure with Pitt playing at home and fresh off the good showing vs.Miami (when they were a huge underdog) looks appealing to most. Pittsburgh got up for that game and I think that was there GOY.Did you know that this West Va. team rushed for 261 yards against Miami? This team has also shown that they play well on the road 4-1 straight up this year.They lost there first game of the year at Madison,which is a tough place to play.Four in a row on the road since. They really took it to Va. Tech on the road there last outing. They are playing there best football of the year averaging over 250 rushing per game.Most of the time if you can have the team that rushes for the most yards and points,it's a pretty good combination to have going for you.This game rates as my top 5 unit play,Some may ask "Why don't you bet the money line then".Because the three points in this game is what makes the play so strong. These teams will not be going up and down the field today,and I look for a slow PACED game.Pitt may even be ahead in the first half.But, I can guarantee you the game plan for Coach Rodriguez is to keep pouding the ball and it the second half it will take it's toll. This team has 12 seniors starting and they have lost the last two at the hands of Pitt. and I look for them to turn it around today.

For the other afternoon action, I'm combining my handicapping ,(which came up with some luke warm selections), with the Nolan Dalla,last game,home dog theory, that I believe has value.I'm going with three plays for 3 units each,hoping to hit 2 out of three for a profit. They are:

Syracuse + 20 3 units
Oklahoma State +15 3 units
Houston + 15 1/2 3 units

Florida St. goes into each season with one goal. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.That got deflated back in September with the loss at Louisville. A couple weeks later they lost at Miami(who looked unbeatable at the time) by missing a field goal in the closing seconds. They had there chance to win the conference blow up in smoke last week at N.C. State. This team only has one thing left to play for. The Florida game. This is there Bowl Game.They were hammered at the swamp last year and I'll promise you they have not forgotten it. The distraction's that have gone on lately would really hurt most teams,but I have watched the Nole's play through the years,and they thrive on this type of thing. I for one think Rix is a superior QB to Mcpherson in this situation. His experience is paramount in this contest.The home field is also BIG in this contest .The game will be decided by who play's the best defense,as they usually are,and I give the Nole's aadvantage in that area. When this line first came out the Nole's were a 6 point fav. and $3.00 fav to the money line. The contraversy this week has dropped the line to a field goal, but I think the real advantage is in the money line as I found them at WWTS a few minutes ago at - $1.40. I have waited all day for the line to drop and I made a 5 unit play(my largest wager) on the money line. I'm not a big proponent of money line plays as a rule,but at $1.40 I can manage that type of vig,for the opportunity to JUST WIN BABY!!!. I don't want a safety,or a missed extra point, or a back-door cover to spoil a big play for me,especially in a rivalry game where all that counts is winning.

I appreciate that hellah, I congradulate you also on your big play today.I was going to play them also,and the line dropped so fast, I thought there must have been an injury or flu bug,and It scared me away.I do respect your handicapping as I have only been on this board about a month.
