Western Union Question

Thinking about withdrawing a little bit using WU. Just curious how picking up the money works. Should it be sent to the town on my license (ID) or to the town I am picking it up in? I will be picking it up in a town that is roughly 200 miles from the town on my drivers license (still same state). Just curious if they go by ID city or pick-up city when I walk in there to pick it up.

Also if anyone has any problems or stories about using them feel free to give any input. Thanks!

never had a problem with WU deposit or withdrawl:SIB

but I am Canadian.....US residents may be different :shrug:


as for your question....really shouldn't matter as long as it is in the same state......




also when ya pick up your money make sure you pick it up at a place that has the cash.....for example if you are picking up say 1500 bucks...make sure they have the cash....if not they will just give you a cheque :SIB

Call and ask them. I know wherever you pick it up make sure you find a WU within 50 miles of the city that you tell them to send it.

If you pick it up 200 miles from you ID city ask them if they can send it to the city you want to pick it up at.
