I think w a total @ 149 the books are begging for under $$. Duke has gone over 149 only 4 or 5 times this year in 19 games. Most of those over games were against mid-majors or lower, in blowout victories. Only exception was the road loss to Michigan. Now w another road game against a big time team, I think Wake drags Duke into a running match. Or the ACC officials take this game into their hands & make this a free throw fest like the UNC/Wake game, when the two teams combined to shoot 77 fts on 55 foul calls in 40 min. Wake Forest has only gone over this total 6 times in 17 games -- they ended on 149 twice also. But havent been over this total since that UNC game. When I watch these teams play, Duke plays great D & Wake seems to play offense in reverse when Ish Smith is in the game -- he backs up to the midcourt stripe even when the Deacs have the advantage. I definitely didnt expect the total to be this high.
As far as the side goes, I think Wake + pts is the way to go. Wake is too big inside & Duke's guards should get out-quicked here.

As hard as it is for me to say I like WF to win by four or less. This should be a close game, but who is going to stop Teague? They can rotate in Paulus but no one really can stick with him. Believe me I will be cheering to the end for the Blue Devils, but I am a realist that leans towards the home team. Honestly the game should end within 5 points either way so it is not a comfortable win. This is the best Duke team in years, but they will have to shoot the lights out to win because it is hard to drive on a team so much bigger and more athletic. Just my two cents. GO DUKE!!!
Maybe just find a better game to bet on and enjoy this one from the bar stool...GL with whatever you play.

I like the overs here. I think this is going to be a very high paced game, with lots of fast breaks and lots of pushing the ball up the court. This will lend itself to tired defenses in the 2nd half which will turn into lots of fouls and lots of free throws. Wouldn't be surprised to see this game go in to the 160's or higher.......:shrug:

WF's strengths are what neutralize Duke. I wouldn't be suprised if Wake Forest won by 10+

if duke wins it goes under and vice versa. wake has to play better and it has to start with mcfarland and johnson. one thing for sure i do not think you will see wake win by 26 pts like last year. duke's defense will be the key. if they hold wake to under 75 pts duke wins.
This is best duke team I've seen in a long time...since Jay Williams and company. Mainly b/c they have good chemistry and everyone has defined roles.
I still hate them with a passion, but so far they look head and shoulders better than UNC and will create nightmares for Roy this year. Carolina is great when they can run but they don't play D...Duke will get back on defense nearly every time...
Anyway, this is Duke/Wake and I think Duke gets the nod. Should be a good one, go devils -2
