Fowler -120 over Kim (72)

Kim says he hasnt played a hole since his injury.. been putting one handed. Over 4 rounds the sharper player will prevail ( i hope )

I understand R. Allenby has pulled a DNS. Is it so?

Looks like it. This was on the PGA Tour website, and the 72 hole matchup that I bet yesterday is no longer up at Pinny....

AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Robert Allenby will miss the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and the PGA Championship next week after he slipped on his boat while fishing and tore ligaments in his right knee.

Allenby had been gearing up for this week's Bridgestone Invitational, followed by the final major of the year. He decided to take a weekend fishing trip in the Bahamas, then slipped on a wet spot on his boat and his legs went in different directions.

The Australian figured he hyperextended his knee. Tests revealed a torn ligament, and he had surgery Tuesday. Allenby, who is No. 14 in the Official World Golf Ranking, said doctors told him he should be able to return in time for the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup in three weeks.

Round 1 play (2pts):

Steve Stricker to beat Rory McIlroy +100 @ Paddy Power [also available @ SkyBet, Bet365 and Carib]
Looking for Stricker to have a good week. Twice a winner on Tour this year, has yet to miss a cut in 2010, ranks 1st in the 'Scoring Average Before Cut' category, and so on, plus he is well-rested after a taking a two-week break since the British Open. It has allowed him to completely focus on this event, in which he finished 6th last year, and next week's PGA Championship. That will be more difficult for McIlroy who was playing (poorly) in the Irish Open last week and didn't arrive here until Tuesday evening - he left only Wednesday free to practise on the course, which surely isn't enough given that he finished 68th of 79 last year.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Cink tb Choi +105; Johnson Z tb Cink +105; Clark tb Kaymer +101; Leonard tb Day +110; Perry tb Johnson +130; Poulter tb Kaymer +120; Crane tb Overton +110]
