This is my favorite event of the year. The best players in the world playing heads up everyday. No pushes, no wd's, no dq's, just win or lose.

Badds to win 50-1 This guy is really playing well right now. Won 2 weeks in a row for me, win easy, no sweat.

R1 Badds over Oosthuizen +130 I'll take the plus money here. My guy versus a player who I don't think is better.

R1 Jacobson over Karlson -133 Somebody please tell me why this is a good bet. My fingers just typed it in, and hit submit before I really knew what was happening.

Round 1 Plays

I feel like Snedeker is still playing some fantastic golf. Posted a 1st round 75 last week but came back with -5 thru his next 54 holes. Goosen had 1 good day on Friday last week and then 3 rounds over par. I think he tends to play better outside of the US personally. He's had a couple of good this year on the Euro. But not playing as good as Brandt so far this year.

Snedeker -135 over Goosen 3.3u / 2.5u

Small play on a 1st round dog:

Manassero +145 over Webb Simpson 1.5u / 2.2u :00hour

Couple of first time players in this event. Manassero is a solid golfer. Could easily win this matchup for a good price.

Aaaand just to do it... 4-Golfer Parlay: :gf:
(pays 4.76-1)
Rory -195
Poulter -180
Tiger -205
Haas -155

1.5u / 7.14u

Only one I wouldn't call a pretty big upset would be Haas, but the way Ishikawa has been playing this year... he should be an early exit in this tourney.

Adding an Outright:

Tiger to win
+1400
1u / 14u

Tiger has won it 3 times in the last 8 years. His game is pretty sharp. He may not have been able to put together 4 great rounds yet to win the tourneys he's played in this year (which were all loaded fields) - but he's played some great golf, shot some low rounds and showed huge improvement from last year. I'll take a chance on him.

ok, here goes

Lawrie back on big time golf scene for 1st time in a while - Rose has been there for a while so to me motivational edge goes to Lawrie

Form edge goes to Lawrie as well - really good start to the Euro Pga season including win 2nd to last time out - Rose still trying to round into form and not a great history at Dove Mtn

could type more but you get the drift

You mean plus 130 on Badds, right?

Badds is -130... I wish I could get a guy who has been playing this well at +130. Even with the -130 Ill take him.

Mcilroy-215 over Coetzee, 1u should dominate
Senden -130 over Dyson 2u
Really like Senden in this spot. Been playing well and dyson not as much
Badds -130 over Ooosty 1u
Rose -150 over Lawrie 1u
Quiros -105 over Laird 1u

The main reason for the last two plays is simple, Dove Mtn. is a long course that will favor some bombers and Quiros for sure can get it out there and Rose will as well plus Rose is a damn fine match play player.

Underdog plays
Woodland +135 over Schwartzel. 1u
Schwartzel as solid as they come and Woody been struggling since going with Butch. Im thinking or at least hoping he uses his length and makes some birdies and gets out to an early lead and holds on.

Bello +165 over Day .5u
Not impressed with Day this year and even though Bello is unknown he has played well as of late. Just going off current form here.

Chalmers +150 over Kaymer .5u

I know Kaymer reached the finals last year but Chalmers is a bulldog who can get up and down from anywhere. Nothing more frustrating than watching a guy ham and egg you to death. Frustration sets in and Kaymers loses late.

See ya for round 2

1st round at 5 dimes:

Na +165 over Stricker
Jimenez +180 over Garcia
Manassero +160 over Simpson

Parlay paying 4.41-1
Wilson +130 over Van Pelt
Lawrie +130 over Rose

Parlay paying 2.64-1
McIlroy -220 over Coetzee
Schwartzel -160 over Woodland
Poulter -185 over Sang-moon Bae

My attempt to get some value and lots of action and minimize the overall risk. Obviously playing the parlay matchups as parlays only, not individually. The top 3 plays are played as individual plays only. If I win any of these I feel I am getting big enough odds and want to collect. This method is not recommended for you professional players out there lol.

1st round play (2pts):

Fredrik Jacobson to beat Robert Karlsson -120 @ Paddy Power and BlueSq [available generally]
Opposing Karlsson as a poor matchplayer. He has qualified for this tournament six times, lost in the first round times and then lost in the second round in the remaining two years. In the Ryder Cup, he has won just one match out of seven played. And now he comes to this event with a complete set of new clubs this season (Adams) and off a performance last time out in Qatar where he missed the cut by 11 shots. Jacobson has played in this event just twice, reaching the third round on his debut, but he is in far better form having finished last season with 3rd in the unofficial PGA Tour event, the Asia Pacific Classic, 2nd in the WGC-HSBC Champions, and opened his season last week with 13th in the Northern Trust Open.

[unofficial 1st round system plays: Scott tb Rock -175; Bradley tb Ogilvy -111; Simpson tb Manassero -171; Kaymer tb Chalmers -180; Hansen tb Kim -125; Dufner tb Hanson +100]

Just reported that Bjorn is having some back spasms. Walking around like a robot. Of course it could loosen up and he might shoot 4 under, but I will take a chance going against a guy who might be 80%

Tees off in 20 minutes, so if youre reading this Id play against him for a normal unit.

I would say that 9/10 times you hear some tip like this, it usually does not work out. Bjorn will probably make it a short day for Molinari.
