Heading to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow for 6 days with the kids and a few of their friends, flying out at 7:40 am short layover in Charlotte.....:00hour


A week ago Maine's forecast was clear, 30-35 degrees for Thursday morning departure....
Ft Lauderdale, partly cloudy 75 degrees for Thursday afternoon for 2 pm arrival....



Now:

Thursday, Maine at 7:40 am will be under a BLIZZARD WARNING, 12-18'' of snow, 50-60 mph winds, power outages likely....then heading back into a deep freeze Arctic Blast....We just went through a week of subzero weather......:facepalm:

Ft Lauderdale tomorrow at 2 pm, high of 58.......:facepalm:

I hate to leave the house, predicting heavy power outages and ice.....It's been so cold fuel companies can't keep up with the demand for heating fuel.....2 week minimum wait on new orders.....I'm just below a 1/4 tank with a delivery scheduled for Friday, doubt that happens.....

Just ran out and started filling 5 gallon containers of K1 to ease my mind some.....If we lose power for any length of time my pipes are screwed.....:facepalm:
