This is a match between two renewed friends or enemies. The last years this two teams are doing a special rivalry in the soccer world.

This game looks very close, and I think will be close, but all you know my natural and logical lean on this game, maybe I have not anything to say, but I really want to see some comments of the memebers of this forum to see the sides and the total.

In the side my natural lean is Mexico and the total the under 2.5 or maybe even 2.

Good luck and I will wait for yours replies!!

Havent seen the lines yet, but leaning US.

No way Arena can start Agoos now, no way. US played a strong game after the 5th minute, and if it comes down to PKs, Friedel is an absolute god.

Lean: US

Hasn't US won 4 of the last 5 from Mexico?

I don't know how much the personnel has changed between over those meetings, but I think you certainly can't count the US out.

If it goes to PK's Friedel's already stopped TWO. That's pretty damn impressive.

Honestly, though, I haven't followed Mexico at all in the World Cup so I don't know how they match up. I've seen US +340 in 90 minute 3-way betting but haven't seen a "progress to next round" number on them yet. The draw I've also seen at +230. I see a little value in each one of those bets. Maybe I'll drop a half unit on each.

Not trying to be a flag waver here either -- I had the Poles today on the draw and the win for a half unit each.

I just see more value on the dog in this match especially given the topsy-turvy nature of this world cup.

Beleive me!! this Mexico team is not the same of 4 years a go!! is not the same of a couple of months, they are now a team with a lot of personality and awesome confidence!! they are a great group of players and with a huge technic and heart.

They found they quality and change it to wins and a last minute draw, to me they show a lot of quality more then USA!!

In the other hand is U.S.A. team.
A not convincing win over Portugal, to me was a circunstantial game, but U.S.A. wins and that's what importa, the second game versus S.K. the rescue a draw with a mmm.. good goal but without a dominant play, and the third game was a fvckin joke, come on!!!!!!! U.S.A. was out of the World Cup, S.K. push there in!!! They lose big time Vs Poland, they look vulnerable and without idea; they have a good team but, they are not doing something new o awesome, I see a Mexico team with a new face, mentalilllity and game system based in midfield and defense, the creativity isn't now a problem to Mexico and their participation and game is completely over the game of U.S.A.! Will be close by the confindence of U.S.A. when they play Vs Mexico, but 15 minutes after the game start you will see the dominant style of Mexico playing!!

I you do not like Mexico, please put a lot of money on U.S.A. to have a line with more value!!!!!

good luck!!

Viva Mexico. Mexico has played very well to get into this position. They have earned it.

The USA on the otherhand was very very lucky to tie south korea, and they caught portugal looking ahead. US also is having serious problems with their own defenders.

Line is justified. My compadre is right when he is trying to get you to bet on USA so he can get some line value on his country men. I will be in Mexico for a few weeks shortly and hope they are still alive in the Cup.:toast: :toast: VIVA MEXICO

Very lucky to tie South Korea? That's not the game that I saw and the game was also in South Korea. To get +400 on a team that has gone 8-3-5 against the Mexican team in games played outside of Mexico since 1991. Plus, the games that are played in the States hardly have a pro-US crowd.

Mexico has been outshot and had huge disadvantages in corner kicks in games against both Italy and Croatia. There is a very real possibility of getting down to the US early if they continue to defend their goal by conceding the corner kick as the US has been strong in the air in their first two games.

I think that the US realizes how fortunate they are to be in this spot and have had their bad game and I don't think that the Mexicans respect the American squad. Like the value in the US, but my $100 won't get the lines moved in the direction that you want.

Go USA, but if there is the chance that Mexico can get lucky, they will be the team that has my allegiance for the rest of the tournament.

The Mexicans and Senegal have been the suprise teams of the tournament imo. Mexico have looked organised, inventive, with quality and depth throughout the side. The USA have really flattered to deceive after that 1st half display against Portugal. That result has looked more and more like a freak happening than Americas improvement in World Football. SK pounded them and were unlucky not to take all 3 points and the farcical performance against the dead Poles is (I think) the real USA team we all expected to see in this WC. I hope America can in time learn to embrace the "beautiful game" and improve to a level that can compete with the leading nations as a true world event can only benefit from a good USA side. Mexico -110 to get it done in regulation looks like the best play I can see in the remaining 2nd rd matches. I also think it's time for the AGOOSE to retire.

Is there a fierce rivalry between Mexico and the USA in sporting events? England/Scotland in any event is pretty much war. Neighbours never seem to get on .

BBC: The game of USA Vs SK was not dominate by the USA squad, maybe is because SK is at home or whatever, just something like a fastbreak play give the US the advantage in the game, and all was just SK, and I see it, you should be objective, the team who put the style of game is the dominant team and this is not the case of the USA.

By other way USA in WC did not do anything in the last years, just when they were at home, and this year they was lucky to advance to the second round, you can't say USA was thinking SK will won Portugal and USA can lose, come on!!!!!!!

Mexico is a diferent team in WC always, their level of play increase so much, and now in this WC, they performance is a little awesome because they put they style all the games they were playing in the first round, and Italy is not Portugal!!

Whatever!

Good luck!

Please put money on USA to have more value on Mexico :moon:

Why???

Like "El Vasco" Aguirre says: "I was never interested about the referee, today is not the exception, We'll go to play to win, and that's all".

To this point of the World Cup, the referee SHOULD BE at least decent!!

good luck TTM!!
