South Africa defender Pierre Issa has recovered from a badly swollen ankle and is set to play against Slovenia on Saturday.
The 26-year-old twisted his right ankle making a challenge on Paraguay striker Roque Santa Cruz during their 2-2 draw.
But on Friday he trained for the first time since sustaining the injury.
Goalkeeper Andre Arendse, surprisingly called in to face Paraguay in place of Hans Vonk, has shaken off a knee injury and should keep his place.
The 35-year-old had hurt his right knee in training.
Slovenia will be without their best player, Zlatko Zahovic, who was sent home earlier in the week after a bust-up with coach Srecko Katanec.
Katanec's substitution of Milenko Acimovic for Zahovic against Spain rekindled a long-standing feud between the pair.
Acimovic is set to step into the void left by Zahovic against South Africa.
Slovenia will be without sweeper Marinko Galic, who has aggravated an injury to his left thigh.

Slovenian coach Srecko Katenec has announced that he will give up the job after the World Cup. He had an argument with star player Zlatko Zahovic after the match against Spain and has decided that he does not want to continue. As a result of the internal problems, Zahovic has been sent home.
