every wc an african side comes out blazing and makes a run.
TOGO ,lookes like this world cups senegal. most of their players play 1st div soccer in france,and they get to play them as their in the same group.they also beat out senegal to win their group to make it to the wc finals.thats pretty impresive,usually when a team like senegal gets a whiff of wc sucsess they make it here a few more times .togo beat them out by 1 point.their group is tough but not immpossible.france and then swiis and s korea are not exactly superpowers.will togo be the team???
ANGOLA..they got here by besting nigeria on goal differental..this looks like a pretty weak team to me.i dont know why some experts have them as a possible upsetting team.looking at their squad i see players playing profesionally in angola,egypt and some actually say no club team .maybe they have a few undicoverd gems but i think they will be overwelmed.they did play the usa to 1-0 defeat recently in a scrimmage but this doesent look like the team to pick to me.
GHANA..1st overall their in a very strong group.theyve got players playing in the worlds best leagues.they ripped skorea 3-1 recenty.made it here easily..this is a team to watch.if they werent in such a tough group yove got to seriously consider them...btw im high on the czeks ,usa is solid (arena the coach is very good)and after looking at this team...i think italy is a 1st round gonner(is that a word). :scared :scared
IVORY COAST ,finished 1st in a very tough group to get here.(cameroon,egypt).have players in good leagues.1 notable(drogba star on chelsea).but agian they are in such a difficult group.it seems to me like the 2 best african squads are in the 2 toughest groups :shrug: .this team will be very intresting to watch..............................................................TUNISIA..won their group by 1 point.. been here before and they have expectations.beat the saudis and some how beat spain or ukraine and they move on.i dont think its impossible..have players on some quality leagues...................................................................anybody got some more info????seems to me angola is the weakest...togo is solid and if they can get a point against france they can go through......ghana is solid but to young playing in a group vs czeck, italy and the usa..........IVORy coast probably the best team but are in the group of death....tunisia is looking good as their the only african side in a group where they are clearly not the worst side (saudis).
