you to fax them copies of your DL and credit card used to make deposit before they send you your money. Please share your experiences and compliments/complaints. Thank you.

Cheers :toast:

all sportsbooks i believe require authorization forms for credit card deposits.

its for your own good because of fraudulent activity that occurs.

So you would have no problem, or its now common practice, to fax over such personal information to withdraw funds from your account. I don't know if you have had any experience with the greek, but that has been the only book Ive ever used up untill they pulled this. I never had to provide that type of personal info before....it just didn't feel right with all the fraud and id theft going on today to fax such pertinant material over to another country.
And after being with them for over 7 years I don't know if I should stick with them and take the chance of havin my id compromised or find another reliable book that does not requires such personal documentation to make a wthdraw. I can see needing this type of info for setting up the account but to make a withdraw, it should be as easy as verifying the information they already have on file. Thats just my opinion of course.

If you use a credit card you could withdraw without sending crap in with Bookmaker. You have to just answe some questions. Kind of like a verification.

Well, that was my thought exactly when I called to make my withdraw from the greek. I answered all the verification questions they threw at me then they asked for me to fax over a copy of my credit card front and back and a copy of my DL and I was like WTF, keep in mind I have been a customer for over 7 years, so it wasn't like it was a new account or I couldn't verify the info on the account. Has anyone else been requested to do this to make a withdraw. Normaly it was cut and dry..answer you payout question and bam the check was sent. Is this common practice now with the online books or what? I also asked to speak with a manager, his name was "Wally" but everytime I called he was never there and they never asked if he could return my call.

I can't even find a book that takes a credit card anymore...I've tried a few this evening to no avail. Was given one alternative (reloadable visa). Is this really the only way now?

I've used my debit card a few times. Banks often have a block on certain transactions but will lift them if you call and ask them to ... at least my bank did.

I wired $$ to fund my BetJM account. Am I leaving myself open for the $$ to be stolen??? It sort of freaked me out to wire funds to some guy in Panama:shrug:

It worked out, but I am wondering if I should use a different method next time.

most payment processors are requiring the info because of all the fraud going on with sportsbooks and casinos. you have no worries.

yeah that didn't work...even after calling my bank and having them lift the international restriction. going to try wiring the money now.

EDIT:

wiring money was relatively painless and worked. Gonna give this betonline a try.....certainly had a rather healthy bonus.

That always bothers me. I make sure that account has limited funds in it. I don't even pay bills on line. Still go to the old envelope and stamp route.
