What exactly is a pleaser?

I know I sound like an idiot have never played one; I always thought its where you get points on both sides; anyone?? Thanks

If a pleaser is not getting points on both sides then what is that??

From what I understand is a pleaser is the opposite of a teaser. Lets say the normal line for the Pistons is -7 and another game is the magic -2.

If it is a 6 point pleaser the Pistons have to win by 14 to cover and the magic by 9. Basically the teams you select have to win by XXXX amount more points from the normal spread.

Correct. I hit a few of these in the early college football seasons the past two years. They can pay pretty well. I wouldn't suggest making a habit out of playing them, but from time to time you can pick your spots.

A pleaser is also a way for a book to see who's REALLY sharp.

If you hit two, consecutive three team pleasers, don't be surprised to see your account flagged and your betting options restricted.
