MIA now favored.

Here's why:

- Jimmy Butler (left calf injury) will not play Thursday vs. the Heat.
- Derrick Rose (knee) will play Thursday against the Heat. He'll be a 20 minutes limit tonight, and he'll likely sit out the fourth quarter of action.
- Luol Deng (knee) will play Thursday vs. the Bulls.
- Hassan Whiteside (hand) will play Thursday vs. the Bulls.
- Michael Beasley (knee) will play Thursday vs. the Bulls.
- Mario Chalmers (illness) will play Thursday vs. the Bulls.

I think that the Butler news was a surprise and that's driving the line move mainly.

Thad,
Honestly, no. It's a toss up for me. The kind of game I'm not too excited about getting involved in.
Miami is motivated to win for obvious reasons. Chicago on the other hand, who knows what they want to do (hold on to the 3 seed and play CLE in the 2nd round of the playoffs or drop to 4th for an easier path to the ECF)? They've never shied away of facing LeBron led teams in the playoffs in the past, but it's hard to get a read on them. This Butler injury is a bit suspect to me. Seems more like they are just resting him. If the Bulls were really concerned with winning this game, something tells me he would be playing.
Again, hard to get a read on this one. I'm going to see how these teams come out and possibly look at a halftime or in-game wager. My gut has me leaning to MIA and the under, but nothing on the pregame line excites me all that much.

Thanks for the explanation Deezy. Ultimately went with my gut which was also Miami and the first half under. Looking good so far! :popcorn2

I took the Bulls -1.5. Then the line dropped and I took Bulls +1. Then, at halftime I took the Bulls +9.5. Moral of the story I had a good night.
