No doubt about that. Funny thing is I was never a huge Van Halen fan until a friend had an extra ticket and I was them in concert, was just blown away be Eddie's guitar solo.

I always thought VH was overrated. I mean, didn't he steal his left-handed technique from Allan Holdsworth?

Never a huge VH fan with any of the singers they ran out there, but always loved watching Eddie wail, seeing him live, there was just nothing like it. On their last tour (whatever it was called, with Hagar singing) he and his son Wolfgang did a real cool solo together.

The two were actually friends, and Eddie helped to get Allan and his crew a gig with Warner Bros back in the 70's.

How anyone could call VH overrated, is beyond me.
