Two high-profile reality TV boxing stars duked it out on Friday night at the Silver Legacy Hotel/Casino in Reno and it was Jesse Brinkley (30-5, 21 KOs), a semifinalist on the first season of The Contender, scoring an eleventh round TKO over Otis Griffin (18-3-2, 7 KOs), the winner of Oscar De La Hoya's "The Next Great Champ" boxing reality TV show which aired on Fox in 2005. Griffin fought at super middleweight for the first time in his career for the bout, which was promoted by Let's Get It On Promotions.
