What hotel to stay in Las Vegas

Going to a convention 12/4 thru 12/11. Where is the best place to stay that is on the strip that does not cost $200-$300 per night. Looking for something on the strip. I can get the Luxor now for around $95.00 per night or Mandalay Bay for $149 per night. Is this good?

MB for a 149 rate is great, REAL nice place, at the bottom of the strip, you should rent a car for exploring

Definitely top of the line, especially if their pool is still open - hands down the best pool on the Strip. Where is the convention going to be - at the LV Convention Center? Closer to there, Paris would be a good option too. Great value, right smack in the center of the Strip. Luxor is just OK, but not even comparable to MB.

Mirage is my favorite but the price is a little higher usually from $160-$200 a night

Caesars is the place to stay, but if your looking for a cheaper hotel with a great location try the Imperial Palace or Flamingo... Both decent hotels, cheap, but right in the middle of everything...

Venetian, Mirage, Caesars, TI, Bellagio, Paris
