unlike year's past, i am not very excited about my superbowl plays. i didn't see a great opportunity last week and i don't see one here, which is unusual for me.
i think it is directly related to a lack of confidence in betting games where NE is involved.
for several reasons, i like the rams -13.5(SIA) today but the confidence just isn't there. i like the weapons, their aggressiveness on both sides of the ball, their coaching and their ability to score when opportunity arrises. i simply don't think NE can score w/them and i don't think NE is good enough to prevent them from scoring.
warner has had problems for the past to games, those problems are past. stl beat them in NE, on grass, in a game where stl had little motivation.
adding turf, dome, and motivation and i like the ram's chances to make this one ugly.
i am also throwing in a 6.5 teaser and a parlay of the rams/over(13.5/53 + 7/46.5)
however, my favorite bet of the day is a prop. i love the int total to hit over 2.5(-115) aces.
brady's youth and the pressure of the game will have both qbs making some errant tosses early and the DBs for both teams are opportunistic. then there will be the late half attempts to score and the pats attempts from coming from behind.
i think both teams will combine for at least 80 tosses and w/that many throws and these top DBs, i think it is reasonable to expect 3 of those throws to wind up in the other team's hands.
a 2x play.
