This is some major Bullshit!!!!
I know i am relatively new to sports betting, so maybe someone can just tell me I am an idiot.
At WWTS, if you place a parlay at their listed odds of +160 for team A and -115 for Team B, then you get totally different odds in the calculation, but throughout the entire betting process they list the correct odds of +160 and -115. The payout should have been 386.00. its exactly 386 because they also keep any extra change.
However, the payout that you will actually get is 358.00. Nowhere on the site is there a discussion about the odds changing in a parlay. I called WWTS and asked them why the payout was incorrect. They didnt know. They said maybe there was a pitching change. I said no, there is no pitching change. Eventually they gave me to another manager. She said that what happens in a parlay is that they round, to thier favor to the nearest 10 odds. When I said that the first part of the odds was already at 160, the nearest 10, she said in that case, they round a full 10 points in their favor.
So in this example, the odds went from -115 to -120 and +160 to +150 without any notice whatsoever, even while listing the odds at -115 and +160 on the screen.
When I asked where this policy was written or notified to the bettor, the manager said it isnt. I said you cant just change the odds on the bettor without letting them know, and she literally said, "we can do anything we want"
Maybe I really am an idiot, but that is not cool in any way. If they have different odds when it is a parlay, they should tell you. That significantly changes your betting decision when shopping the odds at these online places.
Mad Jack, along with taking the extra change on every single bet, This policy of changing the odds as they go along, by no discernible criteria, is simply a shameful way to conduct Business. I hope you can help in some way. I switched from my last lousy sportsbook, Hollywood, to WWTS simply because they were advertised here.
I wonder how many other people never noticed this because calculating parlay odds can be a true bore sometimes.
