I pretty much just want to stream games from Reddit to my TV. It doesn't work with the built in browser on my tv, I'm guessing because it needs a flash player to work and the TV doesn't have that.

I have an Apple TV that I use for my ESPN+ subscription, is there a way to make that work?

I'd like to watch a game on my laptop and a game on my TV so just screen casting won't really do what I want.

What do I need that will work well?

I use a HDMI port on my laptop to the TV. I have a laptop that is just for the TV with a wireless mouse and keyboard. This is the best way IMO. :toast:

I actually thought that might be easiest, but as a MacBook user I wasn't sure if I could get a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable. Not sure why I didn't check before this.

Amazon has everything, it would appear.......sometimes for under $10.

do you have voice command on that Mac Book as well.

that 6 foot Thunderbolt for under 10 bucks is a sweet deal..

you can stay away from the Chromecast or Fire stick hassle altogether.

If you changed your router, it would eliminate the buffering. A router designed for streaming. Just sayin.

I'm pretty happy with my Apple router that works fantastic on everything else including streaming from other sources. I'm not sure my router had anything to do with Gears not working well.

Why would it stream everything flawlessly BUT Gears?
