Thank God for trustworthy local books.
Locals do not run their operations like Ponzi schemes. They only collect when you lose therefore risk is evenly shared between the book and the gambler.
Most of the sportsbooks that collapsed and defrauded clients over last decade were MadJack sponsors. If you were to imply that you scrutinize the operations of each of your sportsbooks before agreeing to take their money I would call bullshit.
IMO the biggest issue is the exorbitant bonuses. It sets up a business model that is destined for failure like any Ponzi scheme.
The answer to the problem is widespread legalized gambling in the United States which will put these frauds out of business and allow for proper regulatory oversight.
Haven't lost money to a sportsbook....found a local 10 years ago and got away from WSEX thankfully before they went under.
But hey, IE has personally audited the business practices of the "preferred sportsbooks" so I'm sure your money is safe Joker.
And what fucking difference does it matter which forum it's in?
God you are a whiny bitch.
Sorry kickserv but I didn't need your input as to what forum to post in. In this same forum one of the "preferred sportsbooks" has a thread about their system failures. Did you remind them that it was the wrong forum?
Ok I feel better now.[/QUO
LOL. I am over my rant. Good night and good luck. Go Sooners
PS...when your wife says "I love BBC" she doesn't mean Bobby Blue Chip

Yet you felt it necessary to give the entire forum yours?
1Vice? 5 Dimes? Someone else?
Amazes me that people still use overseas books for sizable deposits after one book after another has defaulted over years.
It's not fair to come in and make accusations about reliable and successful books and predict them to failing. People can read this the wrong way and get the wrong idea and it's not fair mentioning names unless you have knowledge that leads you to believe they will fail and it would be nice if you shared that with us. Your research sucked.
Thank God for trustworthy local books.

I'm sure that's how our government will run it if they become bookmakers as well. Vegas a Ponzi scheme too? Yeah, let's just run these things on trust, like the good ole days with the good ole boys. Geesh.

I call bullshit. There have been a few failures because guys wound up making too much money living in a 3rd world country and went to their head with women, drugs, alcohol. To say most failed is total bullshit and if you did any decent research you would find that it's our own government that caused many to fail because our greedy politicians just couldn't stand seeing their lottery money and horse racing money go offshore. They weren't protecting anybody but themselves. And, they made it illegal in a shady way because they never could get the senate to oppose it and make it illegal the right way. They had to be sneaky about it and hide the law in the port security bill.
IMO the biggest issue is the exorbitant bonuses. It sets up a business model that is destined for failure like any Ponzi scheme.
Ignorance.

I doubt IE or MadJack care about the quality of the books as long as their money is green for advertisement. Just be honest about it and call them "Sportsbooks they pay us for advertisement" instead of "preferred sportsbooks".
You want to buy this joint, you can run it your way, until then I'd like to run it my way. Problems with sportsbooks are kept to a minimum around here.
I was looking for some diversification so I started asking questions. When I saw how few options there were for deposits I started doing research and read up on what has happened to online sports books in the past decade. I did not know how widespread the failures had been.
That is what got me on my rant. Researching what is going on in the industry and the causes for it.
Your research was piss poor or you would have found out the real reasons there has been trouble in the industry. How about the government setting up fake payment processing for a couple years and then stealing MILLIONS of dollars from the books that used that PP. They just took the money like thieves in the night.
Closing down methods of deposits, not allowing us to spend our money the way we want to spend our money.
Google up on the WTO and Antigua and online gambling. The good old USA makes up their own rules to suit themselves. You're only reading what you want to believe and leaving all the truth out of your bullshit research.
But hey BBC you wouldn't know about researching your opinions...you just talk out of your ass.
BBC actually has about 15 years experience dealing with offshore sportsbooks, you are the one talking out of your ass.
I'm sorry but that's pure gold right there :mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07::mj07:
