Was able to get 2 cases of Buffalo Trace and at 30.00 a bottle I would say it is my favorite.
Bought several bottles of Blanton?s at 65.00 each and drink that on special occasions.
Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit is worth the 59.00.
Love EH Taylor at 40.00, Eagle Rare at 32.00 and 1792 at 29.00 . Was given a bottle of Rowan?s Creek and really liked it. Have Angel?s Envy but have not tried it yet.
Cannot find any Elmer T Lee, Weller?s or Noah?s Mill.
Hope to buy several bottles when I tour the Ky Bourbon Trail in a few months.

My wife and I completed the bourbon trail in 2018. We started in 2016.

Of the distilleries were toured, I found that out of every Bourbon, only Woodford Reserve Double Oak was terrible.

Four Rose's and Buffalo Trace were good, but the standard Woodford offered something different. Evan Williams and Wild Turkey had different characteristics, but still I had nothing bad to say. I enjoyed them all except for the above mentioned.

Blanton's is good. So is Elmer T. Lee and I think I'm done just buying one bourbon over and over. There's a difference note in each bottle and to stick to just one doesn't do it for me. I've never tasted Rowans Creek, I'll give it a try.

I keep a bottle in the kitchen and pour a glass when I'm cooking or reading and sometimes ill put a bottle in my golf bag and pour on the course.

Last time I was in Kentucky visiting relatives I was a beer drinker. My cousin had a bottle of Pappy?s but I chose beer. Hope she still has it now that I am a bourbon drinker.
Bought bottle of High West Bourbon yesterday. It is ok but prefer the John J Bowman?s I opened.
Thanks for the tips on the tour.

I started enjoying Bourbons back in the early '90 while being the beverage director at a small resort. As Joker said each small batch has it's own unique flavor and it's hard to choose just one and stick to it.

I recieved a bottle of Wofford Reserve for xmas, good but nut as smooth as some in my opinion it wouldn't be a rebuy for me but wouldn't turn it down either. Bakers/Knob Creek/Blantons/Basil Hayden/Makers Mark/Wild Turkey Rare Breed/Elijah Craig would be my go to before exiting a liquor store....

Joker, maybe a "Bourbon/Cognac Night" should be oranized in Blackhawk if there is enough interest......

My associate at work says he loves that bourbon that joker hates. Likes Blanton too and all the Pappy?s, but those might be over $100.

I keep coming back to Evan Williams Single Barrel at around $35. I have tried several that are pricier but none that I enjoy more.

Buffalo trace is my choice for a reasonable bourbon. Knob Creek is probably the one i enjoy the least. I got a bottle of pappy 20 yr old in the state lottery and enjoy it on special occasions.

I have just been told that Rabbit Hole bourbon is top notch. Costs about $48 a fifth.
