What matters at Christmas...

One thing I'd like to point out, and that is FAMILY comes first for EVERYONE. No one should neglect family or marital relations to be posting here. Some I'm sure rely on gambling funds to pay bills or meet expenses, but that is NOT RIGHT. DON'T do it, as you'll hurt your family more than help. I only bring this up as it is near CHRISTMAS, a time to recognize the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, NOT a time to shower our kids with meaningless expensive gifts.... do yourself a favor, if you're here to make money for CHRISTMAS, take your stake and toss it into SANTA's red barrel at WAL-MART, don't try and rely on us here....

Ok I vented... I just sent my 76 year old mom back to MICHIGAN and I'm a bit sentimental, but regardless of that, we all have to realize, THIS is the LEAST important thing of the season ok? That's the ONLY way we can survive with our families at this time, it's a GREAT time to make money, no doubt as there is lots of action, but don't let the action take CHRISTMAS AWAY from your kids.

KAPEESH??? (really don't know how to spell that, I'm a little bald guy from CALIF trying my best to sound like someone from the SORPRANOS!)

Regardless... hope someone catches my drift and benefits from it this Holiday Season!

Wishing you all a blessed CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

family and friends to me,i almost lsot my mother back in late aug and it really made me think i love her and my dad very much, thet have put up with alot of shit from me with the booze and drugs, yelling and being just down right mean at time to get my way.
they never turned away from me they are the best parents i could of ever ask for,i wish i could be my dad perfect husband, hard worker, always took time to take family on vacation every year to myrtle beach, and we always had what we needed, not always what i wanted but better then most of my friends. mother ran a italian bakery for over 30 years and she was there all the time, they travled to watch me play college and minor league ball. and most of all they always had love for us.i jsut wish i could be them but i am a flawed person.
so family and friends means more to me even more now then any material thing.
wish healt and happiness to all have a safe and happy holiday.

Good post Rander, was thinking the same thing yesterday.

Don't spend the Xmas hols thinking "Man, I gotta get working on the winner of this Bowl game!!". There are 365 days a year you can make a wager, and very rarely will one day be a better opportunity than the others.
Believe me, you won't miss out on anything special - except a family Xmas if you do get pre-occupied.
