WHAT NEXT ?
A source within the intelligence community connected with G8 Conference preparations tells Bourque(reporter) what may be ahead:

"Pierre, from the terrorist side......they will try to out do the Trade Center/Pentagon attacks......How???? One of these ways is how they will do it.....1) with a small plane they will have a crude nuclear weapon on board.....it will be crashed......the location is what concerns me more......options would include these targets.....

1) Pearl Harbor.....security wise the USA would never expect "another attack at Pearl Harbor" and it would wipe out an entire state. They is no infrastructure to assist with the rescue and it would be simply gone;

2) Similar attack only on Las Vegas, Hollywood, New York or Washington again. As much as I hate to say it...this has been a dry run for the real "big" attack that has yet to come and all places represent what is right and wrong with America;

3) Small plane once again with an entire payload of chemical/biological agents on board. By the time authorities respond and realize what has happened......thousands could already be infected/contaminated and dying. (this could even happen in Ottawa now with the NATO meeting scheduled for next month given the fact article 5 has been invoked today) ........

From the American side and in response...
Multiple targets and groups will be exterminated. I believe what you are about to see is something you have never seen or imagined would happen in Canada or the rest of the world.

1) Anyone even remotely suspected of being involved with this terrorist attack or a sympathizer and living in Canada will become a missing person event or unsolved murder; CIA and Seal teams with conduct hits on known supporters with the blessing of our government.

2) Yasir Araffat will be killed....I expect the Israeli's will do this for the USA...he is the leader of the PLO who can not control the extremists....he will be killed....when the funeral takes place....either a mass execution will take place or there will be an ineffective explosion nearby....that will be the release by CIA or other agents...perhaps MI5 of a test biological weapon. You can rest assured this will be something only the US knows about and will be the first blow against terrorists.

3) Knowing how much Sadam loves a good photo opportunity.....you will see a school bombed in Baghdad. This will draw Sadam out of hiding as he shows the devastation of the bombing on the children. This will be followed up by an attack on a Chemical plant in Baghdad...only the bombs will be carrying the chemicals. When millions are dead. the explanation given will be that the US sources learned that biological weapons were being produced for an attack on the USA and NATO allies and NATO bombed the plant before the weapons could be used against their intended targets.

4) Bin Laden will be portrayed throughout as the target....and they will get him....It is just a matter of how and how much the world is willing to make an example of the country hiding him. I expect many reporters to be killed as the governments will not want us to see was we have authorized them to do......

5) Simply for practice. Kaddaffy may also be killed.....any splinter group or remote terrorist group will become fair game targets....including IRA, FLQ and anyone who makes any kind of a statement against the norm...."

It is hard to comprehend the damage and kaos these people could render with real weapons they have it you consider what they accomplished with so few armed with only knives.

I think we are now getting a bit paronoid. Sounds like someone has been reading too many Tom Clancy books.

I am not ready to throw the towel in on a nation of civilized people. Should there be retaliation. YES. Should we destroy the world? NO. Does the United States stand alone in this endevour. I hope not. That is what the NATO allience is all about. The factions behind this need to be held accountable, but I think we need to stop short of plans to bomb innocent children for our own personal gain. There is no need to kill thousands of innocent people with chemical warfare. If we as a nation have come to that then we have no buisness laying claim to being the world leader. We have in fact become againts of terrorism.

I for one pray that the right decisions are made and that we all stop reading Tom Clancy books and believing that they are reality.

Of course, the attacks on US soil are most certainly not over. That might be hard to digest for some of us, but is is the hard fact.

Like birds of prey, once a wound has been established, they will keep pecking. I am not sure of how deep these cuts will go, but we will bleed severely from the coming attacks. The only way we can hope to stem the inevitable, is to get moving now on taking some initiative in a millitary action. We can't go blindly into battle, but as I stated yesterday, the moves must be swift, and final.....we cannot allow a counter-response.

If this sounds to you like I am suggesting the United States use nuclear weapons upon their decided targets, you are correct. This is no time to fck around or second guess. We could very well be looking at the end of any semblance of life as we know it. This may sound 'overdramatic', but we are faced with a terror that we have chosen to avoid thinking about until it was finally thrust in our faces....now, we have no choice in how to handle this matter. Countries will topple over the course of these coming events. People will die. Millions of people could fall in the ensuing war.

The sad thing here, is that all this will be brought on by the actions of a few people.

We could go on all day and night about theory and probability, but we won't know until it unfolds. Pandora's box was opened on Tuesday, and my friends......you can't put the gennie back in the bottle.

The quoted source was correct about what the extremists would like to accomplish.
Whether they are in a position to do so is another question.
As far as his assesment of the US response, that's total BS.
The US does not have to respond with our own acts of terror.
This country can defend itself with honor.
