Probably a bunch of "none"s out there, which is fine.

I experienced a desperate void and I've been trying to watch some older events to keep me satisfied, to some small degree. I do this more that the average human, anyways--watch past, recorded games--but usually I have some freakin' events going live to keep my attention.

I already had my NFL wants satisfied for a while, including watching a few games in the weeks following the Super Bowl.

MLB I haven't dived into, save for a good stretch of the Rangers-Cardinals game 6 from 2011. This was mentioned in mlb.com's list of past games to watch, and I couldn't resist the time-slaughter at the time.

NBA I've caught a couple of games from earlier this year. Also finally watched my copy of Celtics@Raptors--2nd game from last season--as it was Kawhi's 1st 30-point go with the Raptors. That was a good watch. Wanted some NCAA hoops but stuff is impossible to find; one example was Kansas-Dayton, which I never saw live and thought would be a good one to check out. (some extended highlight 30-minute thing on youtube av, so I might check that out).

NHL I've caught a few games, including some of the Penguins-Capitals 6-game series from round 2, 2017-18. Good games, there. Penguins 2-time defending champs before Caps finally got by them, 1st time for Ovechkin. Watched 1st 2 games of Caps next series, vs Lightning, but those games were pretty stale; TB slept through. Can't find game #5 anywhere (TB won next 2 in Washington), but I've got game 7 to watch sometime soon. Grabbed a couple of Leafs games--my guys--but seems to be slim pickins out there, and I think my sourcing ability is pretty solid.

A whack of cool shit available at youtube, including some phenomenal collections of highlight clips, but lots of specific stuff is hard to trace down. Still surviving...barely.

btw, it's stunning how much the quality has improved over the past decade or two. It's not just all the high definition stuff, either, but it is clear that camera quality--especially for any focused close-ups--has improved dramatically. I can totally see that watching some older Lemieux or Gretzky games, which I'm also planning: got me some of the series'(plural) between the Islanders and Oilers, with the Islanders winning their 4th and last Cup (in a row, too) against those Oilers, and then the Gretzky Cups beginning the following season in a classic rematch. I'd love to be able to watch THAT series in HD.

Just curious if I'm alone in watching the 'stale' matches, so to speak.

I watched the 1986 final round of the Masters, Jack's 6th, and 20th Major

Leaderboard was a who's who of that time.

I've been watching old final rounds of the Masters for about a year now and I really enjoy it.

There is a Masters channels on YouTube (for those interested).

Wow, didn't know there was a channel. I will check that out. Along with write on the trip thread. :0008

Been actually busy for me this week, lot of testing and calls with Customers (hospital labs), stuff going on with our company Danaher. Sister company Cepheid at the forefront with the 45 minute test. Problem is they can't manufacture kits fast enough. Literally impossible. But kits made being sent to New York, LA, and Washington, among others. None whatsoever allocated for Georgia, just to show you the difficulty. Can't just turn on a switch unlike some in this forum and CNN think.
